Video for Deep Zone's disqualified song
Deep Zone, has been disqualified for breeching the CyBC rule about the songs being made available before the night of the final. The Cypriot broadcaster’s rules stated clearly that no part of the finalist songs had to be available before the night of the final.
Play was found to have been made available on the net. The song was written by Miglena Staneva. The Bulgarian group could not hide their disappointment for losing a chance to return in the Eurovision Song Contest. The song has a catchy rythm with the use of an Eastern string instrument.
Eventually Jon Lilygreen & The Islanders won the Cypriot final. Along with Balthazar, Deep Zone performed DJ Take Me Away and placed 11th in the second semi-final thus not making it to the final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 held in Belgrade.

Well, I don't think songs should be disqualified for leaking early, but I can't say I miss this song. It is terrible like their usual material is. It's so hectic and noisy and no way it would have sounded good live or done better than their last attempt.

Important or not, I have little interest in music videos, others may wish to watch them until they are blue in the face and marvel at how elaborate they are, but I am not addicted to this image obsessed culture. I am incredibly bored of perfected images, unnatural body forms, pouting expressions, designer labels and marketing cliches. I find it all rather shallow and empty.

That's for ESC, but out of ESC official videos are very important for all artists! 
Jon Lilygreen and the Islanders are better considering that Deep Zone, live, are just terrible.
I'm also all for keeping it simple when it comes to videos. Some of the more expensive videos can often end up looking cheap and tacky. I'm not terribly interested in music videos anyway, I want a song I can listen to, not a video to watch.
I'm really glad this isn't representing Cyprus, very trashy.

Glad that we agree to a certain extent. Lena's charm is that nothing about her is perfect, neither the singing, nor the way she moves. So why should the video be? If it was, it would destroy the enchantment this girl spreads ... imo ...
And I also think that that video suits her style good!

As I have told you before, I think that the German video suits Lena's style perfectly. Any other video would be rather silly imo. Btw, bombastic, expensive, or spectacular doesn't equal quality or intelligence imo. Quite the contrary. I am all for the slogan 'Keep it simple!', but of course people are free to disagree. Please, don't let us start this discussion again. We both know that our tastes couldn't be more different when it comes to videos ...
And watching Lena sing in the German video is MUCH more delightful! Lena comes out adorable!!
I agree with this 100%,! But that doesn't mean video is not cheap and instant made! Again somebody is trying to change my words!! HEY HO!! 
This video reminds me og greek/turkish/cypriot promotion videos from the old times in ESC. Seeming like something out of a national tourist commercial. Pretty annoying actually.
I really don't think expensive promotion videos are necessary. And watching Lena sing in the German video is MUCH more delightful! Lena comes out adorable!!

This video is just plainly terrible. It looks like a cheap clip produced by the national tourist office ... On the other hand I really liked their ESC entry in 2008. Such a pity that it was a complete mess live.
