Me and My Guitar in Flanders Charts
Tom Dice number 2 in Flanders
Tom Dice reached number 2 in the official Ultratop 50 single charts in Flanders. The internally selected singer is second best after Natalia (Belgian national selection entrant in 2004) and Gabriel Rios who occupies the first place with their charity song Hallelujah. Katerine Avgoustakis’ Enjoy The Day is at number 45 in the same music charts. The song was disqualified from the Greek national selection after a remix version was leaked on the net.
According to the Belgian press the song Me and my guitar received positive feedback since Tom Dice made the song public. The runner-up in X Factor 2008 is quite popular withing the Flemish community. Infact this is not the first time that his music entered the Flemish single charts. Last June his acoustic cover version of Leona Lewis’ Bleeding love reached number 7 for a 14 week chart run.
Tom Dice’s Eurovision entry also entered the French speaking Wallonia music charts at number 24. Tom Dice will represent Belgium in the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest to be held in Oslo.

People annoy me sometimes. They complain the contest is full of rubbish songs and then they complain that songs are too good for ESC. I don't get it!
Oops, grammatical "error", not "ever". 
After a couple of listens, this one is ok.
I just noticed the song has a grammatical ever. He sings "tell me did I got it wrong". It should be "did I get". An understandable mistake for a non-native English speaker.
He is good.
Its a pity Belgium is not in the same semi-final as the Netherlands so the countries could benefit from each others points, Belgium is unfortunately in a difficult semi-final with some countries who will pass automatically.
Points from UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Portugal, Spain, Netherlands, Scandinavia,........ for sure. This will be the jury's favororite, so that 50%, we all seem to like it a bit and lots of televoters will absolutely love it. This is maybe the only song this year, that with the first time I heard it, it got to me... it's so intimistic and beautiful, personal that it almost made me cry.... I really do believ in a great future of this song and its singer... Well done Belgium, Flanders......

I LOVE THIS SONG...and the singer.
He reminds me so much of my beloved Damien Rice...My god...
However, I think ESC is no place for this song. It's too good for ESC. There's nothing I'd like most than seeing Belgium winning with this, but I do not think that will happen.

Nooo they weren't scary, maybe too much from 90s!!
Now seriously, about Ishtar I never told you this before, but I liked it more on TV and in studio version, I watched them live in Arena, and that was somehow...I can't explain you, not powerful at all in Arena really, and nobody enjoyed that much 
, then I was a bit disappointed! My mother didn't watch ESC live and that's probably her favorite ESC song ever!

Pfft. trust you to like that song and the dancers were useless, they just looked completely out of place, and looked scary ! Just coz they are black, doesn't mean they are awesome
I love this song!!!
MY NO.1. The lyrics, the music, and the singer are perfect. I constantly have changed my top 10 this year but this song has been a solid number 1. I hope that Flanders is not the only place where "Me and My Guitar" is a hit. I usually hate Eurovision entries from Belgium but I can definetely say that Tom Dice has surprised me.

Good on him. I like the song and his voice, one of the best this year. I actually like listening to the live version better than the studio version because on the live one you can hear they start clapping along in it and it sort of makes the atmosphere of the song even better. Plus he sings great.
Could hit the charts in France too !
Good song, good singer, good surprise from Belgium... if France is voting in your semi, you can expect some points from your neighbours !
