Azerbaijan: Safura recording in Sweden
The Azerbaijani singer is working with Swedish sound engineers, designers, make-up specialists, vocal coaches as part of her Eurovision preparation. Following her trip to Sweden Safura will travel to Kyiv to record another part of her album and to shoot a music video for her Eurovision song. Speaking of about her Eurovision Song Contest project Safura said, I’ve dreamt about it all my life! It’s crazy for me – all this talented people around, everybody’s trying to help me to become the best. Loved photo shoots, because I like to change styles. And vocal coaches helped me a lot, it’s great experience for me.
The song that Safura will perform in the Eurovision Song Contest has yet to be decided. During the national final she performed Drip drop, written by Stefan Örn and Sandra Bjurman, Under my skin, written by Stefan Örn and Sandra Bjurman and Soulless, written by Anders Lundström. A final decision will be made by a professional jury very shortly on whether to send one of these songs to the Eurovision Song Contest or if Safura will be provided with a new song. It is expected that this decision will be made on 19th March.
In 2009, Azerbaijan was represented by Aysel & Arash, who finished second in the second semi-final and third in the grand final with their song Always. In 2010, the country will compete in the second semi- final of the Eurovision Song Contest on 27th May

im hoping that drip drop is the song to go through,i think it will be top 3 if not the winner ,however if it doesnt get through then it would be soulless for me the other song isnt quite as good as these 2 but praying its drip drop it will be my equal favourite with slovakia

In my opinion, she is OK and is improving judging rom the Ukranian performance.
She is the worst singer I've ever heard,with Hadise,,,she doesn't sing,she scream and those things she sing does not sound like songs...You dissapointed me,Azerbaijan,I supported u last year...

Why are they letting her record so many songs for? She is the worst singer in the whole contest this year! Awful girl. Terrible voice and terrible English. The songs are nothing special, but they sound worse than they are because of her.
Azerbaijan really shouldn't qualify this year. Terrible "singer"! I think if you guys like her so much then she would suit better in a Miss Universe competition because this is definitely not the place for her to showcase her non-existant talent. "..-very good said.

Drip Drop is very nice and strong song with safura voice.. it is the best of 2010 esc and my cell phone music is "drip drop "now.. listen this song by closing eyes, you will feel.. Go Safura...

Generally I don't like any of the 3 songs and I hope safura is given another song that can easily be recognised as an 'azeri' song (azeri music is wonderful) and not a boring ballad like what the rest of europe seems to be sending this year. However, if I were to choose a song out of the 3, I'd choose soulless
