josh going eurovision i love song
OMG whoever sings this trash will fail to make an impact on the final...bottom 5 maybe?
haven't seen any of the performers, lets hope best wins
Dear ESC Today
May I wish all the entrants in tonight’s Eurovision Making Your Mind up all the best of luck, and hope to bring the Eurovision Song Contest back to the United Kingdom.
Once again may I wish everybody all the best of luck.
Yours Truly

I also like Karen, even more so than Esma
5,6,7,8 was an amazing song

and STEPS were an amazing band FTW STEPS!!
I like Esma
she is cute
I think Pete Waterman is quite clearly insane LOL but I like him
Let's hope he knows what he's doing. I for one am glad that the contestants are so young. It's nice to see new talent rather than 6 failed singers.
I am nervous about the song but I HATED 'My Time' so it can only be an improvement...
For some reason I'm leaning towards Alexis and Uni5. They come across as really friendly down to earth contestants, They would shine with regards to interviews and such but..
Eurovision isn't about interviews, it's about songs and presentation. I for one shall be leaving my final judgment for later on tonight when the three finalist present our song for Europe.
Still those links aren't working for me ..
Im a big fan of the uk pls help
Any more suggestions of song titles...?
'Europe's Song'
'Our Europe Groove'
.... (shiver)
What is wrong with playing the fortune-teller role on this site???? most of you do it all the time
"I predict this country will be in the top 5 as always *rolls eyes* " blah blah
or
"I just wish for once this specific country does not get through to the final just to see the face of the diaspora"
or
"she/he has no voice but with the help of her/his fellow neighbours she/he will get throught to the final" again blah blah blah
or
"this entry will flop because it lacks this that and the other" blah blah
Have you forgotten all of these??? people?? anyone??
Some of you make me laugh seriously! We all do it and it is absolutely fine because it a very common feature amoung Eurovision Fans
so relax and enjoy the show/s
Good news! Unofficial WORLDWIDE webcast at http://eurovisionplayer.blogspot.com
What is true is that Stock, Aitken, Waterman were very intelligent in the past...they discovered singers who were not only young but could actually sing too (the prime example regarding Eurovision is Sonia), or even Rick Astley, and e.g Hazel Dean (who first sang in "Song for Europe 1976! but they realised her talent and gave her a chance in the 80s), so I hope the "age" factor will not be a question, I think they have probably chosen the singers very wisely to suit their song....
Hi everybody!
It's so difficult from this commentary to judge what the song will be like and who would be the best performer. So let's see what tonight's show brings.
I don't agree with Waterman that Steps' 5,6,7,8 is (or would have been) a perfect choice for Eurovision. But who am I to judge?
Waterman says the song title is obvious, which has got me thinking all day. Something like "A song for Europe" comes to mind, which sounds really cheesy. But again, let's wait to hear the song before we judge.
Good luck to all the contestants tonight, and to Pete.
Btw my faves so far are: Belgium, Cyprus, Norway, Ireland, Slovakia and, surprisingly, the Netherlands (I don't think it will win, and I thought the song was pretty rubbish when I first heard it, but, after hearing it a few times, it's really catchy, and I can't get it out of my head).
Gros bisous! X

Of course you do. You're a guy. How about wanting the one who sings the song best regardless of gender?
alexis is hot. i hope the song is great!!!!!
Every single girl is attractive
I LIKE ESMA and KAREN the BEST
But they are all great
I want a female performer for the UK .
Peter Waterman comes across as rather dislikeable to me on that video... i don't know. Completely different vibe from Andrew Lloyd Webber last year.
(I just associate Waterman with his role as a mock judge in a spoof of "talent shows" on British TV: "Britain's Got the Pop Factor and Possibly a New Celebrity Jesus Christ Soapstar Superstar Strictly on Ice."
Can't wait to hear the song....
@ Ozi you can hear Alexis, Josh, Karen, Miss Fitz & Sam (Uni5) all online
Just going on faces and styles (yes, I know that doesn't mean anything but only thing I can go by right now), I like Uni5 and the girls. The 2 boys seem a little bleah to me
Jamie
YEAH, I'm so angry you haven't chosen Big Brovaz!
That was AMAZING!
Ozi
Well said.
@ Salem.
Worried... well more nervous. It's largely due to the fact that apart from last year the UK viewers pick the wrong performer or song 99% of the time. There have been so many missed opportunities in recent years. I hope it goes well tonight.
@Ozi :-)
They are judging them based on either previous material by them, personality from videos etc and looks - not the ability singing the song tonight.
They all seem so young. I can only wish them all the best. UK is one of my favourite ESC countries and I want the Brits to choose something good. I am sorry not to be able to follow this NF, though. You know, we Portuguese also pay a fee destined to finance RTP and they made a webcast available. Well, good luck!
OMG all these comments are reeeealy annoying me!!!! loool. How can you judge their singing capabilities based on a minute interview????????????????????? ????????
awwww i liked karen most, what a lovely smile she has
