Greece: OGAE Pre final party a blast
Yiorgos Alkaios, Christos Chatzinasios, Emigre, Yiorgos Karadimos and Manos Pyrovolakis all accepted OGAE Greece's invitation to join the traditional pre final party held last night at the Block Club in Pireas. They were all greeted warmly by the large crowd who gathered to meet them and wish them good luck in the Greek final (Ellinikos Telikos) which takes place on Friday.
The party was hosted by Antonis Karatzikos, president of OGAE Greece and OGAE International Coordinator who played Eurovision music to the fans' and artists delight. Esctoday.com was there to cover the event and you can watch the videos as well as browse the exclusive gallery here.

Well, I like the song of Manos Pyrovolakis (I kivotos tou Noe) because some parts of it (where the woman sing) slightly reminds me of an Ace of Base song and the rest of the song sounds like any song you could hear in a Greek tavern (at least how it sounds to a foreigner)

All of them are missing having no hit for more than 10 years.
What an unfortune comparison!Marianna never had a hit in Greece!She just represented us a couple of times with her first entry being really good.Mando on the other hand,was big!A successful career for more than 10 years.Ok!She is not at the spotilight right now but her latest album(2008)included a hit single! http://www.youtube.c(...)/watch?v=Vf-DdQQ4lxY ...It's realy nice!

It doesn't matter if i like a song when it is recorded, what matters is how it sounds live and in the performance is good enough to have a descent representation in Oslo...

I am for game of life. I like a little kivotos tou noeok im ok with that. I cant stand kinezos and opa. Young people and teenagers will support tha game of life but the majority of the public will vote for kivotos. Im not sure about the juries. Kivotos is the big favourite the juries wont vote for opa but i have some hope that the game of life may win.
Jim, I want my country to do well and that is why I support Opa, is the most catchy song and makes people happy and wanting to dance, not those crap alterative Gothic chicks from Sunny Second Skin with their dark depressive song and with the ridiculous lalala and hahaha in the chorus. OPA Greece!

I actually think that all 7 songs are 'decent', each one for its genre.
I wasn't bashing Game of life, I was just saying that I don't see anything that makes it decent and the rest not decent.
It's only a matter of taste.
No it's decent the alkaios entry with the "ou"....aven romale last year with gipsy.cz was less silly and humiliating...lol
