Bosnia & Herzegovina 2010
Vukasin Brajic presented Munja i grom
Watch the premiere of the Bosnian version of Munja i grom:
Munja i grom probably could be described as a reflective, partly melancholic rock ballad with a meaningful message. The song itself is rock and does not contain any ethnic elements, contrary to previous entries of Bosnia & Herzegovina.
Vukasin Brajic will be competing with Munja i grom in the first half of the first semi final of the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest, to be held on May 25th, 2010.

I`m dissapoined... Song is so ordinary....and I expected more of his singing...his performance of this song is so pale... I dont think that Bosnia will get to finals this year....

the song is ok, but really needs some more ethnic elements or more usage of violins to 'lift' it a bit more. im no music expert thats for sure, tho jus my pref
Deen "In the disco" and Feminnem "Call me" were much better than this!
Horrible song BiH !
Boring and overall one big 0 .
Great Bosnian song! Distinctive, rocky and powerful. Even better than 2009, but not up tp the magiv of Pokusaj. Still love it. Maybe in my top 5!
Heard that all before... Unfortunately. Must be honest: I have expected so much more from this song and the singer himself, the boy have shown much more enthusiasm in his previous endeavors, to put it that way. Nope; even if it makes to the final - does not deserve to rank high. This song we all heard before. And did not remeber it. The sam will be with this one.
This boring song stands no chance in Oslo , even though the rest of the songs are as bad .
As for the language discussion here , I would like to notice that there are 3 official languages spoken in Bosnia and Herzegovina ;Croatian spoken by Croats , Serbian spoken by Serbs and Bosnian spoken by Bosnian Muslims only . It is pretty much same language but different ethinic groups have different names for it . If you want to be politically correct you should call the language Serbocroatobosnian .
loved the bosnian song last year,surprised it didnt do much better,this year i really dont like the song sorry but i cant connect with it just makes me want to turn it off

@ Lepi Brennan:
Thanks for the post. It's a lot clearer now!
@FABIO - without confusing you too much i can tell you that the differences between Serbian and Bosnian are even less than between Serbian and Croatian.
Serbian is spoken in ekavica and Bosnian in ijekavica. Examples:
SERBIAN= Lepa//BOSNIAN/CRO= Lijepa
SERBIAN= Mleko// BOSNIAN/CRO= Mlijeko
grammatically i think they are almost the exact same? whereas Croatian differentiates a bit. The main thing I notice (keep in mind i'm an Australian Croatian who speaks the 'old language' Serbo-Croat which is more similar to Serbian and Bosnian than modern Croatian) in terms of grammar is the use of verbs. Eg:
SERB/BOSNIAN = ne mogu da spavam (I cant sleep)
CROATIAN = ne mogu spavati
Bosnians also use words that may have more Turkish influences..and i notice they put "h" in a lot more places than Croats and Serbs. Eg:
SERB/CRO: Lako//BOSNIAN: Lahko
SERB/CRO: Amajlija//BOSNIAN: Hamajlija
and FINALLY i notice Bosnians sound a little different. They seem to accentuate their words a lot different to the other two..but i only sometimes notice this its probably a lot more promininent to people living over there.
Sorry about the long post and i hope it doesnt confuse you..but as you can see there are similarities and difference between all 3 but not enough to worry about. I still consider it all the same language and instead of calling it bosanski, hrvatski, srpski - me and my family (and many other people in Aus) just call it naski = our (language). But thats probably the "Yugoslav" in me
Could anybody explain the differences between Bosnian and Serbian? A quick and simple explanation would be ok. I used to think the differences between Croatian and Serbian are quite subtle (beside the use of the Latin and Cyrillic alphabets, respectively), but Bosnian is beyond my knowledge.
In the same way, I think we could consider 'Argentinian' a different language than Spanish as well, since:
- We don't use the pronouns Tú (You) and Vosotros (You plural); we use Vos and Ustedes instead.
- For the same reason, we conjugate the verbs differently. Ex: Spain = Tú eres/¿Quieres? | Argentina = Vos sos/¿Querés?
- We see no difference between c, s, and z (in Spain they pronounce them differently).
- We pronounce 'll' like 'sh' ("yeísmo"
. In Spain they pronounce lluvia (rain) like 'iuvia'; here it sounds like 'shuvia'.
- We use different words to name some things. Pea= guisante (Sp), arveja (Arg); skirt= falda (Sp), pollera (Arg); computer= ordenador (Esp), computadora (Arg); cellphone= móvil (Sp), celular (Arg)... and so many others.
If I say "Comprás una pollera?" to an Spaniard, she will not undertand what I am talking about. The point is: is that enough to consider it a different language? Rioplatense (our 'language'
is still considered a Spanish dialect, tho.

PD: Sorry for the long post
Sounds better in English than Serbo-Croat definitely .
Have listened to it twice and I just can't get it .
at Fabio , I d rather listen to any of those songs than another boring melody bereft balad like this .
Totally non descript , bland tedious like so many others . This has to be the worst ever Eurovision in history .
Its awful ... There are about 5 songs I really like another 10 which are not to bad . And plenty just monotonous like this

I agree with you, Bosnian song is much better that many horrible songs of this year.After all,I think European people will like this song.
NOT like it, they could do better, and the voice isn't good.
Some comments I've read here are really funny! Someone said "I thought ıt would be like last year's '' Bistra Voda''... Gosh, where did you get it would be like 'Bistra boda'? It's another singer, and another song! You can't expect the same every year...
Whatever, other Bosnian songs were FAR WORSE than this one: Goodbye, Fairytales About Love, Ne brini, In The Disco, Call Me... (Munja i grom is superior to all these songs I just mentioned). Fact is the last Bosnian entries were of very high standard, but that doesn't make this is a bad song. We shouldn't compare. And it's a decent song, for God's sake...
