Such a great song... can't stop humming it...
)
You know I preferred the old version. The backing vocals wer stronger and gave it more character. The increased backing track somehow makes it less memorable. But its still my fave song. I'm so pleased he doesn't have dancers too.
What exactly have they changed? I try not to listen to the selected entries too much before Eurovision season kicks off and all the songs have been selected, so I didn't notice any big changes here. It's still a great song and it has my vote for sure. Well done Switzerland for keeping it in French!
Good luck and welcome to Oslo!
@ paco
is this song about gay romance lol? explains why its in french, the eastern europeans wudnt vote for it if i knew the content lmao, but western europe wont care hopefully... i dont mind the song, i mean its quite good, but i was expecting something better from switzerland i must admit
Besides Spain, the best one. I like very much the Swiss entry
Sounds the same to me.
...
Am I the only one here who hardly noticed anything different?
First is better, chorus is stronger and gives a slight dramatic touch. He should have a nice male dancer and sing to him.....as lyrics are very sexy and significant for gays :-))
haha.. It went from bland.. to crap
I dont like it, sorry Switzerland
@ Karen,
I must admit to be partly touché
It is true that, were this in the MF and "a la MF", I would be throwing up my hands in horror... but, fortunately, IMHO, it still does not have that assembly-line quality that would get me going against this.
I loved how you picked up the 'biased' and used it to gently spank me, though
you naughty Karen!
Marcelo
You are biased!!

I'm 100% sure you will bash this song if it competed in MF!!

This song in Englisg wil sound totally like MF song!
You always write that MF songs are dated etc......LOOOOL what about this one!
Biased Marcelo!!
Oh please *rolls eyes*
What is this?? you call this a new version??
Still sounds monotone, sorry
But still, Best of Luck Switzerland
According to the interview that Michael gave to ESCtoday, the three backing singers will be present in Oslo, the same girls we could hear at the SwissAwards presentation. I am sure the songs will change drastically having the three ladies on stage, because their voices really make the song stronger.
I see absolutely nothing wrong with the new arrangements. As a matter of fact, it sounds more "dressed", and it suits the overall idea.
Perhaps, as someone stated here, but without insulting anyone, this version sounds a bit more, how to say it, camp? Anyway, It's just a half-serious, half-biased statement, for (we know the generalities of many entries and their general appeal).
Anyhow, they should really keep the backing voices up, and please live singers. The three ladies who did chorus in the "original" are fantastic!
BEST OF LUCK!
that version is quiet better than the original one
The songs grown on me, it's an okay entry now
He hasn't grown on me though. I wish he'd use the same backing singers, they make the entry
These two versions are practically the same. The news is worthless.
Don't like it, It is 2much gay for me!!
i prefer the first version, but i still love the song. I really hope they make a nice stage presentation.
Fabio
I agree, the first version was stronger.
I think the differences are: more violins, less backing vocals. Correct me if I am wrong, please. The early version was stronger, imo.
it was in my rather short list of good songs at esc2010 anyway, but now i like it even more ... plus de VIOLINS
To be honest, of all the songs so far, I'd say this was the best - and it's still not that good. The standard of songs - so far - are generally really poor compared to last year.
I really love it
The song is amazing!
@Marko
Yeah I have, and I
it, really, but let's wait for Dima's song also, coz there wasn't lyrics of his song 'White Nights'!
I personally want Dima again!
