Armenia: Eva Rivas welcomes Lys Assia in Yerevan
During her interview to one of the Armenian channels, Eva and her producer revealed some details of the song and Eva's boigraphy. The song Apricot Stone calls for peace and love all over the world. It also symbolises the Armenian diaspora, as Eva lives in Russia but misses Armenia as she lives uproad. Eva has an Armenian and Greek background. As she told, Rivas means a river giving life.

Go Eva Go!!!
Eva is the best participant in the competition!!! Emmy's and others' fans just have to vote for Eva!!! Eva is Armenia!!!
Angelic, I think he's acting like that because she's hitting the notes he wanted. It's like he's saying "Yes! Perfect! Keep it up"
I like Apricot Stone. ^_^
I have listened to Apricot Stone again and unfortunately it just doesn't do anything for me. I still think Emmy and Mihran would be a much better choice. I'm sorry to say this but the video for Apricot Stone has killed the song even more
Who is that character in the red jumper?? Does anyone know??? What is all that about?? The contest hasn't even started yet and that man in the red jumper is getting into some bizarre mode as if to say we have won the contest already or created such a masterpiece
Nah sorry I think Emmy and Mihran should go to Eurovision!
Once again Best of Luck Armenia.
Eva you have everything for winning beauty, great voice & a perfect song, that tuches everyone. Good luck to you.

Hidden symbolic meaning
Eva was born i Russia far away from Armenia! Her mother is an Armenian , Father is mixed GREEK, ARMENIAN, RUSSIAN!! APRICOT is one ofthe symboles of Armenia!!!
Many, many years ago
When I was a little child
Mama told me you should know
Our world is cruel and wild
But to make your way through cold and heat
Love is all that you need.
Her mother tells of her motherland trying her help to know and not to forget her origins!!!!!
My favorite part
May the winter stay away
From my harvest night and day
May God bless and keep my cherished fruit
Grow my tree up to the sky
Once I waved my home goodbye
I just want to go back to my roots
Asking god to bless her homecountry, wishing her young country to grow!! And main meaning of the song "I just want to go back to my roots"!
it's not a bad song, but a bit repetative. though that's usually what works for the charts as well, but I just don't see what the lyrics are all about. Apricot Stone doesn't sound that well when pronounced.
@ Jan Jan
Maria Kizirian's song sounds like a lame parody of Qeen's "We will rock you". It's not gonna work. I don't beleive in her song
Eva Rivas is the best ! Our brothers and sisters who live in our motherland, Armenia, must understand that we, Diasporan Armenians, from France to Greece, from Russia to Cyprus, from Spain to Poland, from Netherlands to Czech Republic, from Belgium to Bulgaria...will ONLY vote for Eva Rivas and not for other candidates...because Eva's song pays tribute to Armenia, its culture, its history...
And non Armenians love Eva's song too !
Dear @Rita
Yes, this is Eva Rivas great, her song is amazing, and what you think about Maria Kizirian? I think that is her song fabulous
Eva Rivas is the best Armenian candidate this year
Choosing somebody else is going to be a huge mistake for Armenia
@jessie Sanders
im agree with you!
Mihran and Emmy ? noooooooooooooo, never, i hate emmi(((((

Well, i'm impressed.. and confused.. dunno what i like more; "Little Red Riding Hood", "Hey", "Apricot Stone"...
imho "Little Red Riding Hood" misses some energy in it as i already said lil more rhythm in arangement wouldn be bad.
HEY!- i love this song but the lyrics ..daamn..
"Everyone say Hey!", "Let me hear you say..- Hey!"...- now the best part.. "..sexy girls lick your lips then move your hips.." or - my favourite..-"Oh, baby watch my body if you want m'e..m'em'em'e" LOOL
, i guess jury guys are not goin to be happy with this
Apricot song.. so..that's the strongest composition of all.. i have no idea about Eva R. live performances(vocal abilities) ..is she able to sing it live? Hope yes couse this song is definetely top 5 one.
Success Armenia.
ernst leumann
Yes we call that color-line orange - Tsiranaguyn /Color of Apricot/

Yea!! Legenda is also nice song!! A little need to work on passages from ethnic to modern, in that case it will work much better!
Oh yeah,"Gutan" is very good,a mix of rock music, ethno and modern music.Supeb!!!Thank you for that link.
Logan Tom
Inga anush could do much beter with this ethnic rock, unfortunatly they choosed JAN JAN which was a little bit strange for "european ears"!! This song was the alternative of JAN-JAN:
