Where are Druzina and Andrea Súlovská????
I've got 6 favourites here... Paradise vs. Babylon, Figaro, Emotions, Dúha, and specially Rosa rosí and Horehronie.
Well done, Slovakia, that was a good preselection! Now you just have to pick the right song.
Dawid Sz., I agree that Petra Humeňanská's song is also a very good one. There are several good songs in this NF.
Tomas Bezdeda has worse song than last year´s one - I doubt he is able to win. But probably will me among top 10.
Bazik, Humenanska are without chance on top position... Petra Humenanska has just a nice duet with Miro Jaros (Na dne mora) - the song is much better than their individual songs in Eurovision and has got a nice videoclip. I recommend to see it on youtube.
Poor Druzina
My favourite are Petra Humeňanská and Smola a hrušky
@ Shevek Urras
Great
Let the support begin... I wouldn't take this victory for certain...
Many times entries like these fail because voters take for granted it will win so they don't bother voting or the juries doesn't understand what ESC is all about and make the wrong mistake AGAIN.
I'm not saying that last year's song was bad, I like it, but let's be honest here, it wasn't fit for ESC really..
Kristina is THE entry for Slovakia this year I think.
Have no doubts, New in Town, I support Kristina's song even if they don't change anything. My support for it led to me look for ways to enhance the whole number.
I really hope Slovakia will send Tomas
My 2nd/3rd favourites are Peter Bazik and Horska Chata.
Everybody can have his opinion on Kristina´s performance. The song is the best one with some chance to get some points in Oslo. That is most important now.
If performance on stage is good or not - it is for some analysis after national final. I am sure that Kristina´s team will analyse reactions on it and if they find out that majority of people don´t like it they can change it. For me personally it is a good performance. Where is the problem? - green background (nature), dancers as trees. Only one problem is her vocal.
@ Shevek Urras
I'm just saying that they have the time to change performance till ESC.
I don't mind dancing, but I agree they should tone it down. But we will probably see no changes during Slovak selection, so we will have to wait for ESC performance to judge the performance... so far it's just in NF version, which is not important.
The song is still the same though and if I understood you right you do support it?
Don't worry, Togravus. Multitasking is hard (I keep on making mistakes...).
Shevek
Sorry for calling you Shavek before ... I tried to do three things at the same time again. I should really drop this habit!
I would not waste...
New in Town, I made the remarks that I did about Kristina's song because I really think that it could work out very well for Slovakia. The center of attentions should be her and not those hyperactive dancers. If I were in Slovakia, I would vote for her.
If I didn't care about the song, I would waste my keyboard on it.
I'll try to translate it :
Horehronie = Upper Hron river basin
although I'm not sure if it's gramatically correct
Rita
It's part of Slovakia, river Hron runs through it....
I would go for Kristina - Horehronie! This song will reach the final in Oslo,no doubt!
btw-what does" Horehronie" means?
I've just watched Sona's performance from 6th QF who win it! I can't believe she beat Miro, when she was out of tune almost whole song!!

But she had nice dress and performance....
Thanks, Marko
I have liked Bez siedmeho neba from day one and am very happy to see that Miro is a very charismatic performer with a good voice. Still, I am afraid that he wouldn't achieve much if he went to Oslo. Classy and unpretentios stuff like that tends to get overlooked on ESC night. Unfortunately!
@togravus
you're welcome
Miro Jaros - "Bez siedmeho neba" performance from 6th QF!! AMAZING

Igor
Thanks a lot! Oh, I do like this one very much indeed. It is rather urban compared to what we normally get from Slovakia.
@togravus
there is a live performance of Blue sun on yt - it's decent or even acceptable
watch for yourself:

@ Iwona Wegrowska FTW
Why can't you connect a folk-inspired song about the nature of the country with a folk-inspired dance? It's the same as with Moldova 2009 - a song about the country and nature and a folk dance..
I agree they need to tone it down, but I wouldn't say it's necessarily bad.
She shouldn't have a simple dress, but a folk dress would be nice.
And Marko, wait with judgments until may on performance because NF performance doesn't count.
New Legenda in Town etc.
It is highly theatrical irony, at least from my side. Well, I should start using those emopticons but I don't want to!!!
* correction
"... except your own country"
btw I can't believe people still talk about an NF performance like it would be the final ESC performance...
I don't see you guys judge the others this hard.
KRISTINA MUST WIN FOR SLOVAKIA THAT*S THE ONLY OPTION IN MY BOOK
so
KRISTINA FOR SLOVAKIA!
My problem is probably that I understand lyrics and I simply can't conect them with coreography and all kitschy costumes!
I think she needs one simple white dress or even national Slovakian costume (of course combined with smth modern) and without dancers!
