Slovenia: Second group of songs available
These are the remaining seven acts competing at the semi final, to be held on February 20th. The automatically qualified finalists will present their songs on February 14th. The first group of the semi finalists has already been presented last week. You can listen to them by clicking here.

Manca Špik is competing at EMA for the third consecutive time. She came 9th at EMA 2008 with Še vedno nekaj cutim and placed 2nd last year together with Langa with the song Zaigraj muzikant, which won the televoting but received nil points from the jury. Her song this year, Tukaj sem doma, is composed by Andrej Babic, who has won the Slovenian national final two times so far, namely in 2007 and 2009.

But that's your opinion Max, my opinion is that those ladies' song how you called them are AMAZING, not all of course but some of them!

Well, thanks for your mediation!
I'm normally someone who wants to get along with the people, but her permanent insulting (and as I want to point out, I only spoke my opinion in an appropriate way and she imputes me to be "pro-American", "capitalistic" and "biased against Eastern people" which is simply pure nonsense), her impertinent way - or "temperamentful", however - nearly brought me to just call her names back...
Best regards back to Slovenia!
and for my part, I still have hope that there will be some good songs among the finalists, so that you finally will pass again to the final...! ;-)

As I said, I have right to my own opinion about gays. And of course he has his own right for his opinion, but he doesn't have to insult Slovenia and our music, but I'm sorry if he's insulted and I apologize.
...I guess he's just jealous since Slovene girls are looking much better than German girls. And our boys are also one of the hottest in Europe, so he might consider coming hier...

and max - you shouldn't blame daša for her conservative thinking. this is normal in slovenia we have strong church propaganda so most of people are against abortus, homosexual community, foreigners etc. plus she's typical slovene women - our women are very temperamentful, while slovene guys are much more laid-back

Well yes you ARE stupid if you don't see that I wrote both Slovene AND English and Styrian AND English... You clearly have a bias for Eastern Europe and it's people! Why am I conservative if I didn't wrote the word gay? I have my right to have my own opinion about that community and we won't discuss it here.

Well, I DARE to speak out my opinion about the Slovenian songs whenever I want - and I didn't do that in a disrespectful way - I think the majority of them is weak and a few of them are slightly better...
A totally conventional opinion - written day after day in here by thousands of people in reference to songs from countries all over Europe...
There was absolutely NO reason to get personal for you or anybody else... (besides, if somebody doesn't speak the universal language Slovenian, he's immediately 'stupid' for you - together with your narrow-mindedness concerning homosexuals, this one gives a deep insight...)

E, pa vidim da si sa Srbije. Mislim, da ćete biti ove godine jako dobri, jer Bregović je najbolji na Balkanu! Žao mi je, jer nismo u istom polufinalu i imamo samo Hrvatsku. Nadam se, da će biti Nušina pesma mnogo jaka i će prođ u finale. Puno sreće!
I see you're from Serbia. I think you'll be very good this year, since you're going to be represented by Bregović - he's the best in Balkan! I'm sorry we're not in the same semi-final and we have only Croatia to vore for us. About your comment - I think Nuša's song will be very strong and we'll easily get to the final. A lot of luck you

Fine for you - basically, I referred to her other pieces of impudence...
I'm not so pesimistyc about Slovenia, yes it's true that it probably won't do very well with televoters in the semi, but I think If you send Manca, Ylenia or Langa jury will save it and it can pass to the final!
I love Brigita even more than those 3, but I'm not sure If jury will go for Brigita!

Shevek, I think it's style of "Senhora de mar" and whole song will be smth like that...but that's not bad at all, actualy it's good for me! I love "Senhora de mar" and I love this song!! Babic is fantastic ESC composer for me!!
Ok, Marko, I've heard this Slovenian bunch and I have to say that Manca's song did not sound like 'Senhora do Mar'. Actually, it is one of my favs here along with with Marko's and Martina Feri's.
Ezma's song, from Macedonia, did remind of 'Canta por mim', though. Btw, I listened to the Lithuanian hopefuls and, imo, the Baltic countries have a very strong lineup. These three and Moldova have the best NFs so far. I will try not assess the Portuguese NF because we don't know the full songs and I am, you know, Portuguese.
Here we go again with the ladies' show and the weak songs... - and with super sexy Marko Vozelj who furthermore has the best song in my opinion...
Apart from Marko, it's Martina Sraj and Sara Kobold from the first presentation round for me...

Sorry slovenia- but ur screwed! Only Croatia to vote for u! Ull get our 12 and we'll get yours..but that's it...esc sucks :-( and ema is so good this year too! Maybe there should just be balkanvision haha
