i´d like to see mariam christine in oslo!
Samsara- Claudia faniello or Hypnotized - Rosman Pace together with a great show they can only get Malta the first Victory for the nation the rest is all so boring and we heard it many times.
Please Malta stop sending boring ballads to Eurovision have a change and I'm sure you will do well with a fantastic show .
My dream is my favourite song and only song so far that I like.
mirage should go for malta
Unless there is a good song in this Semi I can tell Malta will be sending a boring song like 'Vertigo' and will come within the bottom 5 places in its Semi..
Here is hoping.. but I doubt anything good will come up.
at least this is the last round of horrors after that, unless a great song (or at least a decent one) comes along tonight, we can say officially that Malta is doomed for the year
I haven't heard Jessica Muscat's song but she was very good last year with Smokescreen (I can't remember the name of her other song but it was awful), so I wanna hear her song.
i hope Malta can be in a good place this year. And i hope they wont send the one of previous artists specially Chiara. She always sings great. Her songs are great. But she mustnt paticipate again. But if ira losco will participate again i will be very happy
I am really looking forward to hear Lawrence Gray's Stories tonight!! I have beeen waiting eagerly and it has finally arrived. I hope his song will be a knockout!! I hope he wins!!
The finalists will be known today?
@ Kira Demourney
We are all entitled to our opinion. You seem to like Samsara. And I do respect your opinion. However, I repeat many people do not like it at all and were disappointed when they heard it.
I am Maltese and I would like to see Malta doing well for a change. Year after year, we have been sending the wrong song and doing hopelessly at Eurovision. I just hope that the Maltese will choose the right song, the song that would get the best results. I like Claudia a lot. She is one of my favourite singers. But, I sincerely feel that Samsara would not do well and it would mean disaster for Claudia and for Malta.
I'm hoping for good songs tonight although I don't think I will like any song more than Mirage...the best song out of all the Maltese semis so far.
@ music lover
please speak for yourself! I listened to all the maltese entries so far and I think that Samsara is the best by a mile. You seem to enjoy campagining against this song however, I'm sure you might have reasons for this. I liked Claudia's Blue Sonata but not any of her other songs.
As for Lawrence Gray, I am looking forward to listen to his song, and to judge for myself how good or bad it is.
Good luck Malta, it would be nice to come to your country one day!
Mirage is the best song so far....
@ Paschalis
Many people like all Claudia's previous songs. They think that she should have won with any of them. That is why they were so hopeful this year about her. I was one of them as I like Claudia.
However, when they heard Samsara, many people were very disappointed! It is her worst song till now.
@ Music Lover
The fact that he composed "Caravaggio" and "Blue sonata" (I don't like the first at all and the second is very average) doesn't mean anything.
Anyway, miracles can happen, so let's see...
@ Paschalis
It is true. Till now it has been a nightmare!!
But I am hopeful about tonight. I am especially hopeful about Lawrence Gray. I am hopeful for 2 reasons:-
1. Lawrence Gray has a really amazing voice. Many people say that he is in a class of his own.
2. The composer is Ray Agius, who is one of Malta's best composers. Ray was the composer of 'Caravaggio', 'Blue Sonata' and 'Sunrise' for Claudia Faniello in past Eurosongs.
@ everyone
Sorry for the misinformation, it's corrected now!
And the nightmare goes on for a 6th week in a row.
Yes Marcella is right. There is a mistake here. Televoting for this semi-final will start tonight and finish next Saturday. The 20 finalists will be announced next Wednesday in the same programme. (Not tonight!)
Samsara and My Dream are my top 2
from the 5 shows we've heard so far, I can only pick 3 songs:
Grave Dancers
My Dream
Mirage
I still haven't heard a song from the Maltese selection that really impressed me. Let's hope for Jessica Muscat. She had nice songs last year.
@marcella busuttil
I've heard his voice and it is good, for sure, but it all depends on the song. Let's see who is the best tonight! I can't wait!
Malta, less is more.
from the 1st 5 semi's it should be thea garrett to oslo!!!
THE INFO IS WRONG HERE...TELEVOTING ENDS SATURDAY LIKE EVERY WEEK!!THE 20 FINALISTS WILL BE ANNOUNCED NEXT WEEK!! VISIT HERE:
