I never said that they are going to win because they have a good promotional tour. I don't believe much in promotional tours. the best promotional tour was olivia's and she was a total flop...not olivia because she was great. i mean the promotional tour doesn't make much difference. The fact is that most of the people listen to the songs for the first time on the evening. Now, Malta and Greece and Turkey will have an advantage because if they pass to the final, they will be heard twice and people will remember them from the semis. why?? because they are three very powerful and charismatic singers. last year Dima didn't have any special song...it was slower than what if we but he was a charismatic singer and he suceeded! For sure France with Patricia and UK with their lord will have powerful performances. no doubt about that. Therefore that is what makes me believe that UK, FRANCE, MALTA, GREECE and TURKEY will be the top 5.
Next....France's singer is not very famous with eurovision viewers while the other four are giants comapred to her in the eurovision industry. That is one of the french disadvantages. secondly the song is too slow and she will sing in French....no way the winner. The turkish songs will remind many people of beyonce but she might seem a bit too much a copy cat (+ when she sings live, her voice is not as great as the recorded version). Still she looks good and she knows how to move. I don't believe she is going to win but might steal many points from teh others. The UK has a good performer and a good song but it seems very long and it is a risky song.....if she does not reach her high notes she will be a total disaster. Hopefully she will be ok and has a god chance. On teh other hand when I saw her on the english stage she looked great but when she was in Malta she wasn't that great. The other two are Malta and Greece. Sakis will surely get many many votes for his looks. it i swell known that many gays watch this festival and many will vote for him. Surely a Top 3 song. his songs are not that great but his dance routine will make it look better for sure. Chiara on the other hand has a unique voice and a haunting song. At first the song sounds good but when you hear it again you notice there is nothing special. well, people will hear her once and that is in her favour. Moreover she never needed anybody with her on stage and she never needed to dance........her presence alone is already enough, her voice is more than enough and her smiles and winks make you feel at ease with her. She is very charismatic. I really believe that Greece and Malta wil be battling it out.......and no, it won't be the songs but their charisma.
the only two countries i am still waiting for are sweden and ukraine. usually these two have good songs. we'll see which song they will choose. the others have good songs but surely not toppers.

Dear Marko,If Chiara and Sakis are not something special, what is special in your opinion?
Anyway,I wish this year's Bosnian entry to be something more...special than last year's crap-something like the great songs of 2006 & 2007!!!
GOOD LUCK TO BOSNIA & HERZEGOVINA FROM GREECE!!!

Regina started out in 1989 as a teen rock band in Sarajevo and quickly became top band not only in Bosnia&Herz. but all over ex-YUG but when war started they split up as each member went to "their" side.Aleksandar and Bojan (Serbs) went to Belgrade, performed under name "Aco Regina". Lead singer Davor Ebner (Croat)has been for some time as a refugee in Frankfurt,Germany along with Denis (Bosniak) then they went back to Sarajevo...in 2006 all of them rose above politics and reunited. They truly represent Bosnia & Herzegovina as a whole!

@Ray Romandi: i never heard such a wrong and debile prediction.. just because they are the four singers who go the most around to other NF don't mean anything about their success. The songs you name are lame and though might all do well I don't think a winner is there.. come on did Lordi go out to many countries, did anyone see it as the usual ballad, the good voice or the shaky lives? It still hugely won and smashed 2008 winner Dima Bilan stuck behind it!

it is already evident that the fight will be between Malta, UK, Turkey and Greece. Slovenia, Finland, Denmark and France will follow. My prediction is that UK's song will be too slow and sorrowful while the turkish song will be reminding many people o fmany different songs. The two that will be fighting will be Malta and Greece and sakis has no chance to win if his is Chiara. Chiara is invincible! The Voice! that will be next year's theme. THE VOICE in Valletta 2010!

I'll be honest here. I don't even doubt that the song will be great. Bosnia has been bad just ONCE in its entire history, in 2005. The country is usually flat out brilliant, and this has a title in Bosnian, we know the group's quality.. I can already know that this will be a great entry, a great follower to Hari Mata Hari, Marija and Laka.

I think... just think, that promoting your song in another country, should not be allowed. Just my thought.

Haj'mo Bosno, Bosno, Bosno! Haj'mo Hercegovino!
Nikad sama nisi ti, uvijek s tobom tu smo mi, tvoje kceri i sinovi!

I'm so excited, so many big stars!

Also - bravo on bringing back Maja Cengic. She has been wonderful in the past and she's very good with the foreign guests. She knows what needs to be translated into Bosnian for the audience and what doesn't - like with Isis Gee, when she interrupted the English interview to tell the audience, in Bosnian, that Isis wrote the song for her husband.
