Will wildcards be awarded?
Poland: TVP announces 12 finalists
Out of a total of 122 received entries, a special jury appointed by the Polish broadcaster selected the twelve acts to go directly to the Piosenka dla Europy, the country's final for the selection of their next entrant in the Eurovision Song Contest. 87 songs were received from Poland, 7 from the Netherlands, 5 from France and Israel, 2 from Germany, 8 from Sweden, 1 from Norway and Denmark, 1 from Cyprus, 3 from the United Kingdom and 2 from South Africa.
According to the original Piosenka dla Europy rules, the Polish broadcaster retains the right to award up to 5 wildcards. Information coming from OGAE Poland now states that this will not probably be the case this year. These are the 12 finalists so far:

- Dobry czas - IRA (Music: Artur Gadowski, Lyrics: Wojciech Byrski)

- I don't wanna leave - Lidia Kopania (Alex Geringos / Bernd Klimpel)

- Kardamon i pieprz - Mikromusic (Natalia Grosiak)

- Love is gonna get you - Man Meadow (Music: Thomas G'sson / Andreas Rickstrand, Lyrics: Thomas G'sson)
- Mon chocolat - Tigrita Project ( Klaudia Baszniak Koz�owska)
Man Meadow from Sweden enter once more with a song by Thomas G'sson, and among the finalists we also find a Norwegian Band, Det Betales.

Hello! I have listen ton Man meadow it´s fantastics, the song have not sent to swedissh MF it´s a new song. I can only say - Wait and see they have a good song

Artists who do not want to sing in Polish should always be rejected by TVP.
It's very annoying that jury rejected a lot of much more better songs that these, which were qualified. Listen to e.g these compositions:

It is amazing how a country with so much quality Polish language music can get to such crappy national selection for the ESC.

Man Meadow is a Melodifestivalen reject, that says it all. Melodifestivalen don't want them because they S.U.C.K.!!! They stand for everything that is cheap in music together with songwriter Gson who is the cheapest and tackiest songwriter of all! Please don't vote them Poland! I am Swedish but I would NEVER vote for them anyways!
Sorry Poland, I want you to get a good position in ESC, but all these songs are lame. Even worse than last year.

Mon chocolat (Tigrita Project) is a tango! well, I´m surprised because it springs to my mind Finland 2006 (Jari Sillanpää 
, that was also a tango and it did not go well with the public, so I could not reasonably expect Mon chocolat to be a successful entry, and it is just... flat.

son is an AWFUL composer.. I hate his songs! Man Meadow are in Polish national final because they really are poor singers and they had no chances in MF.. yet they were my favorites in 2008, because the Polish final was awful last year.. I hope this year will be better.. Maybe Man Meadow can be better too (well at least they're hot)
Rzeczywiście jest sonda na onet.pl i tam większość narodu jest za Stachurskim obawiam się że będą głosować bo go lubią. To jest naszym głównym problemem, że kierujemy się swoim gustem, a nie staramy się wstrzelić w gust Europy.
Jakby Stachursky się zgłosił z tą piosenką co śpiewał z In-Grid w ubiegłorocznych preselekcjach to może mógłby coś powiedzieć, ale to... No cóż.
Lidia Kopania, Tigrita Project - to moi faworyci.
From the ones i heard (and thanks Thomas XXX for the links) i liked Tigrita Project, Mikromusic and Artut Chamski.
Waiting for the rest..but i think it will be a better NF compared to last years.
