Rosa 2002 in Tallin

Spain points high

Spain: TVE selects Rosa as representative to EDC

Spanish broadcaster TVE has confirmed Rosa as the national representative at the forthcoming Eurovision Dance Contest. She will travel to Glasgow accompanied by a male dancer from the TV show ¡Quiero bailar!

Rosa will represent Spain for the second time at Eurovision. The first one, at Eurovision Song Contest in Tallinn back in 2002. The second one, at Eurovision Dance Contest on September 6th in Glasgow. Rosa's dancing skills are well known and recognized by the Spanish audience, who saw her participating at the dance show ¡Mira quién baila!

Rosa will dance together with a male dancer chosen from the TV show ¡Quiero bailar!, currently aired on TVE1. From now on, Rosa will participate at the weekly galas of ¡Quiero bailar!

@Tim:
EDC is a eurovision contest with dancing. It was only held once up to now with something lie 23 countries, in London i think last September, and it will be held again this September in Glasgow. The voting system is entirely based on televoting..and as far as I know a pair of 2 dancers(a male and a female) dance live 2 times..I find the idea great, but this contest has not gained any publicity at all in Europe..

Lady Sarantuya B.: she´s a true fat girl slim. Yes, she´s very slim since 2002 she gave away her extra weight. I´ve seen her dancing, I`m not that impressed...

rosa was ok, i much preferred Beth from 2003.

2002 was a rather dullish year - my favourite was actually Turkey although she sang awfully Live :(

i refreshed my memory concerning Rosa and the ESC on you tube!! God, she was awfull, she could not sing, neither dance..I like Spain in the ESC, but why do they present one crap song after the othe other in the recent years?

Rosa has made a spectacular change from 2002 to present and she dances well, but I don't know if she can compete in a professional dance contest like is supposed to be EDC... Anyway good luck. At least we are the winners of the Euro Cup!

For me Spain was very mediocre that year, I loved France.... Last really good Spanish entry must be Annabel Conde...

who the hell is Rosa, anyway? The best spanish entry of the last years was 2005, "Brujeria", higly entertaining and fresh

It sounds great. "In my dreams" is one of my favourite ESC entries :) I've heard their versions of some of the other ESC songs.

OFFTOPIC (sorry)

I've just downloaded album from Euroband (Iceland 2008). They've done their version of song "In My Dreams" (Norway 2005). Did anybody hear it? Its such a great interpretation by Euroband and such a nice version of the song.

The scariest of all I think it was Lordi, I remember my mum telling me she had nightmares with them.
LOL

Jonny,
there have been so many scary entries it's hard to choose...well, I could say one but I won't because of the circumstances right now, I'm sure you understand...
Rebeka was pretty scary too though...and to think I liked that song before I saw it on stage!

''''We all know that Malta was moral winner of esc 2002''''

I didn't know that..lol
Actually I don't know what moral winner means. The real winner was immoral? :O
Malta had a good song though, although I admit I had forgotten it...but I remember now it was indeed my 2nd preference at the time :)

Stockholm

I don't know. But I think the way to avoid it is to refresh the page and then post your comment quickly, it seems to work. (now i've said this, this post will probably appear in completely the wrong place! lol)
