New album and video clip
Greece: Mando returns after five years
Mando II is the artist's twelfth album to date, the title symbolising a new beginning after a long break she took after Eurovision. The album contains twelve tracks, among them three by Pegasos, six by Mando herself and two by popular Danish producer Deekay. The song Breathe again is reported to have been submitted to the Greek broadcaster for this year's local preselection for the Eurovision Song Contest. The album has already received favourable critics in Greece and enjoys quite a lot of airplay.
The official presentation of the album will take place this Wednesday at the Club Bocca in Voula, Athens.
You can listen to samples of the songs from Mando's new album here and here.

with all the respect to the fans of Mando: i find this sample of her new work terribly bad. if the whole album sonds like this it will be a big flop. i do not like it, nt at all, but i liked "Never let you go" back then very very much
her song from the ESC was great!
and the new CD is awsome!!
the video clip of this amazing song is amazing!!
I quite like this song: so much better than the boring song she sang in Eurovision.
I think Mando should be in top 10-15 at least...
It wasn't easy enough tho, because ,next, it was the most wonderful ballad in the world of music ("I'm not afraid to move on"
that was presented!
GO MANDYYYYYY...............
@ Candyman's Combination
Yes indeed she released this double album in 2003. I said that she hasn't released anything else since then, cause someone wrote here that she released 2 albums in 2004 & 2005, which failed, and that was not true.
Anyway, I am so happy that she's made such a great album!
Listen guys I have been told that Mia Rose is going to represent Portugal in the next eurovision song contest...I´m so excited cause I love her...she is so nice...I now know that she will make some musics with other compousers and then the public will dicide wich one is the best!
Mia Rose is the stage name of Maria Antonia Sampaio Rosa, an English/Portuguese singer-songwriter who rose to fame through the popular video sharing website youtube.
no it wasn't certified gold
No. In winter 2003 before she left her label and took a break to have another baby and be a mother, she released a Greek album where she sang Greek classics and 5 new songs as you say. The album went gold. Not a total flop for an album with only 5 new songs.
@bulgaria for ever: yeh was interesting in both good and bad ways.. plus it sounds like a folk song ive heard be4
@Ramon
If i have to add interesting entries in the list maybe Voda is one of those
Alexandros i think she had released an album after her ESC03 participation which failed. (an double album with 5 new songs + 10 covers of old greek songs)
Her English tracks are on her myspace at: www.myspace.com/mandorock --- She used to have ALL English songs before, and full length, but took them out and re-did the Myspace for the Greek release. Only Safe, Breath Again and the Greek tracks are there now. I guess her new record label made her do that.
A great album from a truly great artist. I really love her new looks and sound. I dare say it's her best album...
@ANNA MARIA
She hasn't released anything since 2003.
Mando is a great singer with great attributes, perhaps the most interesting entry tits and lips in the Eurovision history, together with Luminita's (Romania '05).
Never let you go is a great song!
I bought the cd.I have no words...i didn't expect to be so perfect.wow...
Wow nice innovative sound! Well Done Mando for the change!
But she made wrong choices in Eurovision 2003. Hair-styling, outfit + she was nervous & didn't sing as good as she sang in the national final in which she was flawless.
She'd better give a try in the international market. :-) She deserves every success. amazing voice!
her album is amazing! Download it or buy it! Mando kalh tyxhhh!!!
Never really liked that song at all to be honest
Lovely voice!!!
I liked Mando's song in 2003 and she did NOT deserve 17th place
especially since her singing style was too great for Eurovision.
I am pleased that Sertab's more memorable SONG won that year;
a song I voted for.
album cover is from 'Within temptation'...!!! mando has a great voice imo..and according to other greek artists she has a fluent english accent...good luck mando!!!
That bootlaced bustiere was quite something. It was quite a struggle for that corset to 'never let them go'.
Im soooooo glad to see the fabulous Mando makin a comeback! im quite aware that never let you go was not that popular, even among many greek fans. however to me this is the most underrated song ever, i totally loved it, such a great voice! but what was she thinking with that dress?? girl kill your stylist, please
I love this song, but her eurovision one was quite bad. I'm gald shes making a great comeback
Please Mando don't come back for eurovision in future to harm Greece progress in esc - she was oversinging never let you go in 2003 - Dima Bilan did better never let you go in 2006 in Greece near Mando, so she can't say she never heard. I doupt that Mando considered the importance of that factor.
PPL you must listen to her NEW English song : ''SAFE''!!!!
IT'S WONDERFUL

MANDY ROCKSSSS
