The twenty songs that will be represented during the concert on June 1 have passed through thorough selection. Back in March members of the professional jury evaluated 84 applications and selected the top twenty.
The semi-final of the national junior contest "Song for Eurovision" will feature:
- Roman Voloznev "Mammy" (Minsk)
- Ekaterina Goncharov and Dmitry Korchevsky (duo) "Beyond the Horizon" (Berestovitsa, Grodno district)
- Diana Gromova "Ta-ru-ram (Gomel)
- Diana Guzino "Number one" (Grodno)
- Maria Dubovskaya "The Camomiles" (Minsk)
- Polina Dutchik and Mikhail Sosunov (duo) "Ginny" (Brest)
- Cyril Yermakov "I Sing it for You" (Minsk)
- Dmitry Yermuzevich, "All of us are Children of the Earth" (Gomel)
- Nikita Zhurovich "Dreaming" (Lelchitsy, Gomel region)
- Alina Konareva "Magic Dreams" (Vitebsk)
- Serafima Kuznetsova "Don’t Give Up" (Vitebsk)
- Irina Kulagina "Midsummer Song" (Lepel, Vitebsk region)
- Maria Lemeshevskaya "SMS MMS" (Kobrin, Brest region)
- Ekaterina Mezhennaya "Pin Codes" (Minsk)
- Darya Mikhailova "Ode to Jazz" (Vitebsk)
- Alina Moshchenko "Time" (Mogilev)
- Darya Nadina, Karina Zhukovich, Alina Molosh (trio) "Heart of Belarus" (Minsk, Baranobichi, Brets district and Ivatsevichi, Brest district)
- Darya Soroko "So-Da-Super Star" (Minsk)
- Alexandra Stelmakh "Young RNB" (Grodno)
- Darya Shulgina "Dancing, Dancing" (Grodno)
15 years old Irina Kulagina is the oldest participant of the concert. The youngest one - Dmitry Yermuzevich - is only ten.
Young actors of "Close Company" project ("LAD" TV Channel) Polina Pisarenko (8 years), Angelina Martinkevich (10 years) and Misha Lenskevich (6 years) will host the concert.
After viewing the concert the professional jury will name the 10 performers that will take part in the final of the contest "Song for Eurovision".
The final of the national concert will be held in September of 2008 in the form of a gala-concert. The winner of the contest will be selected after phone voting of the TV audience and decision of the professional jury. The winner will represent Belarus at the international Junior Eurovision Song Contest "Eurovision-2008" in Limassol (Cyprus).
The national junior contest "Song for Eurovision" is organized by the National State TV and Radio Company of Belarus.

Who will win jESC? Who will send the cutest most doll-alike little boy or girl to Cyprus? Will it be Russia? Or will it be Belarus?
