Dima does a detour!!!

Breaking news from the Winner's Tour! Moments ago, Dima Bilan departed from Dublin to Germany, instead of London, to perform on tonight's Verstehen Sie Spaß, live from the Rothaus Arena in Freiburg.

Right after the show in Germany, Dima will fly to London by private plane, to appear on stage for the UK Eurovision Winner's Party in London's Scala venue.

Stay tuned for more news and information about the Winner's Tour, and Dima's appearance on Verstehen Sie Spaß in Germany.

Molly, you will advise me about Moscow?? what do you know about how Russians love to celebrate.
and after all, i dont care much about what is going on in the city, about the outside atmosphere. i am concerned with what´s going on in the hall, in the parties, in the PC, and in the club. and in these senses, Kiew was one of the best so far (also shared opionion of my western friends), so Moscow should overjump it.

I wouldn't have thought he's need a private plane - you would think he could float from place to place on his massively overinflated ego.

Fariz G

No-one in Moscow will even notice it's happening. The place is far too big to hold it and get an atmosphere going. Even in Belgrade there was zero atmosphere in the town itself. The locals did not seem interested AT ALL. Which was very surprising. Totally unlike Helsinki, where the whole place got ESC fever for 10 days.

andrew, are you crazy? Eurovision 2009 will be definetely the best or one of the best ever. Can you imagine how Russians approach big, international events? They will do it on the highest level.

first of all i make my position clesr: i like dima bilan very much, i think he looks magnetic and attractive on stage and back then in 2006 i liked his entry very much and i was kind of sad that it came second and nt first..BUT...i found "Believe" an uninteresting, boring ballad and i think he sang it in terrible english, it sounded like russian..i think it is unfair that he won eurovision 2008 with this song..Armenia, Greece or Ukraine deserved much clearly the first place.i am disappointed.still i repeat: i like Dima very much...well see you next year in Moscow..

What I think is funny is that mister Bilan, flies from one country to another in a private plane....to sing in shoppingmalls, restaurants, small clubs like Scala... pfff... I mean what must he be thinking performing before a small crowd in Scala ? Well he didn't even give an encore for his felow Russians ...Ani from the other side, she's a stage animal, can not get enough... Just one questions, dear Ani, I hope you get that outfit cleaned once in a while as every time I saw het, she was wearing that same glittering outfit. Advise, maybe you can borrow Charlotte's dress (as she doesn't seem to need it anymore), and it's more or less the same style, or Kalomoira's, was that all designed by the same person ????

I hope there'll be a video of his performance - Dima is great :)

vitor moreira- I agree with you.

Well I do think there were better but songs but this is not that bad, the only thing that is quite bad is his "english" accent. I think it's a quite decent song and well he deserved to win back in 2006 which I don't think the song that actually won that year did!

I can't say the Russian entry was the best in my opinion, but, with due respect for every one's opinions, I think the unfair voting system, more than the song and the singer, is the reason for so many unpleasant comments about the winning entry. I don't think it is such a bad song (at least it is a song, which can't be said about three or four), I have never read any unfriendly remark by the singer. Still, everything has been tried to diminish the victory in a way I have never seen before (and I honestly think thre have been worse winning songs): that it is a copy of Wild World (but they're so different...), that he appeared naked in some magazine, that he is unfriendly... At least, and I think that is actually good for Eurovision, he has other songs he may sing when invited to do a show. Some winning artists had only their winning song to sing. He is more than a one-song-singer. I believe last year's winner had also sung other songs before, but even one year after her victory she would only sing Molitva. I also think her song wasn't released abroad. In terms of friendliness I saw her in the panel jury in RTE (Ireland) and in two or three occasions she was rather arrogant.

dirge dirge dirge
fixe fixe fixe fixe
bad song - terrible voting system - rubbish drug taking singer - corrupt swindling state - how on earth could this song have won?
2009 will not be a good eurovision - this is already a fact.

Kernow - 2005 Pan-Celtic Song Contest Winner :

What a stupid thing to do. You sound like you're 4 years old not 40. Get a life.

Sorry mates, I need to see some real changes in Moscow (and Russia) before i decide to support Moscow 2009.
Especially, gay rights.

I was talking to a couple of friends today, who are NOT very much into ESC, but they "have the TV on in the background" on the big night. And they both said they liked the winning entry; It was a nice song, a gorgeous artist and a very good performance and show.

You see; the average European doesn't care wether the artist is arrogant, stupid, a diva, a snob, part of a conspiracy, almost won with a better song two years ago or any of the other IDIOTIC labels some of you put on Dima; they judge from what they hear and what they see. And, looking at the points from all over Europe, they appear to have liked what they heard and saw of Dima.

So why don't you stop whining and instead start looking forward to next years big night; only 344 days to go...

I really can't understand some people. Even if you don't like Dima or Russia or think he shouldn't have won, that sort of behaviour is just so childish.
God, I didn't like Marija but I would never dream of throwing anything at her!

then it's clear you are the tw@t with behaviour like that. How old are you?

Did the tw@t have a clean shirt & trousers on ?

I'm the one who threw a glass of red wine over him at the After Show Party in Belgrade, just as he was leaving :)

Why would anyone feel 'pissed off' after paying £12 to see 5 Eurovision acts, including this year's 1st and 2nd placed artists?? You'd pay £15 to get into an ordinary club last night and get no entertainment!
I'd say there were about 400 there...around half the number at the preview party. I was surpised Dima sang Number 1 Fan and not his 2006 entry. Some idiots booed but they were drowned out by cheering Russians.
Ani Lorak stole the show... the crowd loved here. Sonia appeared a little 'merry' and Nicki French proved to be a great compere. The next event will feature the cast of the Eurobeat ESC musical... should be good.

Im not surprised it was half empty. I expected a tour of a few euro artists (about 5) not just 2.

i had considered going but as there was only 2 ..neither of which rocked my boat I decided against it.

Lets face it if you want to see BUKS FIZZ or SONIA you can go to a butlins holiday camp .

I went yesterday evening and the only thing I can say is CRAP, not many people there, most Russians (you can recognize the girld straight away on their "natural" blond haircolour and the friendlyness in general ). Dima did two songs, Believe and an even worse song. The Russians sceemed for more but her majesty the Queen of Moscow already left the premises.... Last came Ani Lornak who, once again, was a million times better, more friendly,...she sang 4 songs and gave a reprise of shady lady. I left at around 2.30 and felt pissed off...I should have stayed home and if this attitude will be a sign for next year's festival, i hold my heart.
