Bulgaria: Mariana Popova releases new video
New religion is a beautiful ballad whose video clip, just released, features a medieval background. Mariana is presented like a princess from that time, in love with a knight who tragically dies in the battlefield. Mariana, asleep, awakes in the very moment her lover is deadly wounded and runs to meet him, lying on the floor.
Mariana Popova represented Bulgaria at Eurovision 2006 in Athens (Greece) with the song Let me cry, failing to qualify for the final due to her 17th place in the semifinal.

Anelia & Gergana please!! Especially Gergana!!! The national broadcaster should propose Gergana to represent the nation in the ESC09!
Azis will increase the interest about Eurovision in Bulgaria!

Hello, I dont want ot sound like I disrespect your opinion, but can you tell me, how Azis have ruined Mariana's song ?
Of course, there is some stereotype for what is the voice of all pop-folk singers in here, but I can bet really, that Azis have the better voice from most of our pop singers.
Kvo vi e be?Mariana Popova is great and she sings absoluely fantastic Azis ruined her show on Esc and we know that.Anyway i would like to see maybe Anelia on esc cause she can make a wonderfull show but she doesnt sing Pop anyway she can sing that very well Maybe a song like Edinstven ti or even Sleda ot lubovta.Bulgaria has so much to offer .and im proud of being Bulgarian.Bulgaria is number 1

If Azis want to participate, I dont think that anyone could stop him. Regulation speaking, he have that right like every other singer in here.
Actually, speking from vocal point of view, I dont think that Azis vocal is cheap. It is good actually, but that is only my opinion.
According to his popularity in here, I dont think that Azis will have some problem to win our place with a decent song.
Well, of course...if that hypothetically happen in the future, I can even read some messages in here, that we want to achieve some extra gay votes with him.

Well, the sound wasn't good in her perfomance, i was hearing more her voice than the music. And Azis was scary. Maybe Bulgaria can send him as the new Verka Serdutchka. But Bulgaria will never do internal selection so he will never participate.
About her new song: I have the idea that Bulgarians prefer cheap artists like Azis Gergana etc seminude girls voiceless over Mariana Popova for example who's a truly fantastic artist or Elitsa Todorova. That's why Mariana should try again since she's so professional & in order to achieve success outside Bulgaria.

First of all her compositor -Dani Milev is bulgarian!She is one of the only who performce that kind of music in bulgaria,I mean balads!Maria Ilieva is also that kind of singer!I think she is amaizing!
Mariana probably wont back because her performance was a disaster!She sang perfect and the song was one of the great balads in esc ever!But the show was little weak because of Azis(I hate him) and the backround dancers!I know she had problems with the performance because in the last minutes the two twin dancers from the video didnt come!
Next year i want AMria Ilieva and Grafa!Thay are great and will make good show!

It was the best Eurovision balad together with Shiri Maymon from Israel I loved her ... But I think that Azis showing up ruinied the chances to qualify 
But Mariana is amazing
She really deserved to qualify in 2006, her song was a bit boring, but she can sing!!
And can anybody tell me, was that the Bulgarian transexual, "Azis", onstage with her in Athens?
And it sounds exactly like "Let me cry" (Bulgaria 2006). Mariana is a great singer, but all her songs sound the same.
