wow...the stage is so huge people....beautifull...i`m so excited..the countdown began...see you all in BELGRADE!
Hind, succes. We have sent a good performer but okay it is not my taste at all. But who am i amognst millions of other europeans, thinking of good music from europe?
Jonny K:
Yeah, and a few points for the dancer wearing a sort of kilt.
- Stockholm calling
Well, I haven't heard her 2006 entry, so I will watch it and see what I think!
(I think she deserved a good few points just for going on stage wearing basically a kilt!!)
Jonny K:
That's exactly what I think.
As for Linda I think her performance was great but her song sounds very much like her 2006 entry.

Aaah, I loved BWO aswell. But I think my favourite in the final was actually Linda Bengtzing, her song was great and she is a great performer! (Frida ft Headline, were great aswell, its the song that makes me happy!!) . . . . . Actualy I think I loved every song in the final!
I was also surpised that Velvet didn't qualify with the song "Deja Vu", its one of my favourites. And I thought that Daniel Mitsogiannis was gonna qualify, but when I saw his live performance I wasn't surprised he failed to qualify!
I thought the Poodles were excellent!
And I think the worst song has to be "Razborka" by the Nicole! Aaaarrgghhh, thinking about it makes me cringe!! But Christer Sjorgen was pretty awful aswell!!! His song was so awfully cheesy!!
w s:
I actually prefer the Netherlands to Armenia. Good luck!
Jonny K:
Thanks
Yes, two Swedes competing for Estonia.
At first I thought that Melodifestivalen was not up to standard this year but when I listen to the CD I think it's good. I voted for BWO in the final but my second favourites were E-type/Poodles in the first heat.
- Stockholm calling
And she was a Swede aswell!!!! You Swedes really do produce the best singers!!
In my opinion, Sweden has the best music in europe. I downloaded the melodifestivalen CD this year, and it was great. Ofcourse the Ark are great, and elena paparizou, who was raised in Sweden, is also one of my favourite artists!
Swedish music forever!!!!!!!
But the Armenian entry is also considered annoying by some. And maybe both songs benefit from being sung one after another. And they are followed by Finland, which is probably one of the most difficult songs to enjoy by the average viewer.
Jonny K:
Yes, Sandra was great
Winter Wonderland:
It's very unfortunate that Hind will perform after Sirusho. They have similar songs and the Armenian entry is considered stronger.

I agree with your comments about "invincible". I felt the song lacked any emotion, but Carola made the performance work. I think its a shame that Carola qualified, but Sandra Oxenryd didn't because Sandras song was better and Sandra gave a great performance.
@Winter Wonderland, that may be true. But I fear the same is true for "Hero". That song is not good or bad either, but somehow Charlotte succeeds in letting people believe the song is a winner (which is an accomplishment in itself). I even think "Hero" is very much like "On top of the world". Charlotte even lacks Carola's performance skills, which made the also bland "Invincible" stand out.

I think your description would describe last years dutch song very well, however I really like this years song, especially because of the Arabian infulences. However I fear, like you said, that it may dissappear, which is a shame
Wow, that's one dedicated fanbase.
I think Hind is a very sweet girl but this song sadly does nothing for me. Thomas on the nordic panel found the right words: It's anonymous.
Not good. Not bad. Simply a song that'll blend into the rest and disappear.
This is what I think will happen, although I do wish her the best of luck.
really like her song.....
hind may be the surpirse if this year! veel succes en geef ze vankatoen!
Don't forget the farewell party for René tomorrow @ Schiphol airport called "You're going to Belgrade you lucky bast**d Goodbye Party". He will, of course, sign autographs and sing his official anthem for the Eurovision 2008 coverage, "My heart belongs to me".
If you plan to attend the party you must wear a Luke Snyder wig.
I love you HIND
I hope you pull off a wonderful result in the FINAL ........Best wishes
yay hind ill see u in belgrade!!! ill kick ur ass if u dont qualify!! haha
" Hind will sing her Eurovision entry 'My heart belongs to you' "
huh??!
The best of luck to HIND and to her nice song!
Greetings from Finland
Hind will need good luck. But on the other she may be the perfect candidate to get the jury wild card. Certainly the Netherlands has one of the best voices in the contest. Again.
Good luck, Hind.
Woooooo, The Netherlands is in my top 10 this year!!!! Good luck to The Netherlands
