"Malta should have won in 2005"
Georgia: 'Peace Will Come' video available
The Abkhazia born singer, who entered the Belarussian Final last year but failed to win the nation's ticket to Helsinki, also entered the Georgian Final this year, but this time won the right to represent the country at the 53rd Eurovision Son Contest.
In a few days Diana will be visiting Malta as part of her promotional tour, before she arrives, OGAE Malta, interviewed her regarding Eurovision and her career. One of the questions asked Diana what she thought of Vodka, the Maltese song this year, Diana replied "it is very unexpected and original" she continued "Malta always has interesting entries. For example, Chiara, she should have won the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 in Kiev"
Diana's Video for Peace will come shows scenes of war and the effects it has on peoples lives, including children, which are heavily featured in the video.
Diana will represent Georgia, with her song Peace will come, in the second Semi Final on the 22nd May, in hope of making the final on the 24th May.

Ben Gray, I think the problem here is the SONG. Diana's voice is ok, but the song is dull, somehow. Reminds me of "If we all give a little" (CH 2006) or "Together we are one" (IL 2006), the kind of anthem that never works.
Odd that so many of the ex-Soviet countries are sending excellent songs with terrible singers this year. Georgia, Russia, Belarus, arguably Azerbaijan...
NOT CHANGE FOR THE FINAL.BAD CHOISE FOR GEORGIA SORRY.
my dear johnny: im sure u do
lol
but im trying to be diplomatic lol, our little angry "nameless" friend proved how passe assholism is lol
- T K
I think I might know who that "nameless" singer might be . . . . . . . . . .!!!
wow i was just thinking how interesting this actually is.. an abkhaz representing georgia who has a russian accent singing about peace, its all a bit of a headf**k lol
anyhow its grown on me a bit, but its still like tatu singing an israel style esc song,.. still the lyrics are nice and meaningful!
her accent is cute compared to another singer who will remain nameless lol
I think Salome Gasviani would have been a better choice...
last diva
Don't be a cynic
That video has been released so long time ago... old news!
Darko S.: It would make a GREAT Unicef ad. =O Damn, they should contact the PR group.
Khalid GR,
I'm in chok - you prefered your own country to winn back in 2005?! Lets be realistic - most of the greek persons wanted their country to winn - the same goes for my ppl in 2000...
Very strong song!
Far too Unesco/Unicef for my liking. A very mechanic feel to this song, rendering the sentiment a little too microwave-friendly for comfort.
Ok first time I heard this song I thought it was awful now I have seen the video its slightly better then awful maybe just terrible.
I think she has the rght to say that she prefered Chiaras song (so did I)
Elena was great but I still prefered Chiara.
But I also have to say that I really dislike Dianas song this year. Last year Georgia was great but this year their song bores me a lot. I always have to skip forward after a minute or so-
Come on, this video was available in eurovision.tv for more than a month now.
I don't care if she liked Malta more than Greece in 2005, it's a matter of taste. (I think that 2005 was Malta's best entry in ESC ever) but I prefered Greece to win anyway.
this song reminds me so much of TaTu from russia lolol everytime i listen to it its the first thing that cames to my mind
nice videoclip and nice song but last year was 1000000000000 times better
for me last year song is one of my fav song ever in esc
SHE DISSED ELENA! THAT BITCH! =O
But seriously, Malta was my fave that year too. =]
This song, however, I don't like. It reminds me of "if we all give a little." Difference was that that was quite a good song. This is not.
I like Diana well enough, and Georgia had a great entry last year. But this just isn't good.
Oh well, better luck next year!
Each country has their fair share of crap entries.
Hm...I didnt like the comment about 2005 version. What she wants to say?..Helena was not good enough for her to win the trophy? What was so impressive in Malta's song that year?
Anyway...
this is awful and she is so annoying i know this is Georgias 2nd entry but please...piss will come
This is my favourite song this year and I think this could be a dark horse although I admit not as good as last (which was also my favourite) years entry but this time last year everyone was going on about how bad Sopho was and criticising her but I think everyone changed their minds after her peformance!
This is an step back. Sopho was a great debut for Georgia, but this is not so appealing. Reminds me of "If we all give a little" *puke*...
Of course, it's not Diana's fault. She's a good singer and I really respect her.
Way too political! A cheap and pathetic attempt to get votes! Russia and Georgia..oh dear, they really doesn't believe in there entries!
- nigel mc macerson
LOL, you ask people to vote for the music and not the dancing, but your country is sending a singing turkey!!!!
Dustin & Ireland forever!!!
@ Nigel:
Music above all, right?
fair play to that woman it must take alot of determination doing eurovision , quite an inspiration!
its a really good song !!!!
i hope people will vote for the music with it as the dancing and stuff will be limited...
This video was released like two weeks ago! Anyway the song is ok but it doesnt mach their debut entry at all....
