Sweden: Linda Bengtzing to release second album
The former Pop Stars entrant scored a big success with her debut album Ingenting Att Förlora in 2006, following a second successive Melodifestivalen final participation. This year, Linda is back in the competition and preparing for another final with the song Hur Svårt Kan Det Va. The CD single is released tomorrow and features her 2008 entry and a remixed version.
The new album features her 2008 Melodifestivalen entry along with Värsta Schlagern, last year's number one smash hit duet with Markoolio. You can watch the promotional video to the song below, which shows a comedic spoof of a typical Swedish Eurovision song.

No matter how hard the EBU High Ranking Officers are trying to prove that the Eurovision Song Contest itself has nothing to do with politics, in terrible situations like the one "unfolding" in ARMENIA, it's more than obvious that the Contest is highly depending on how politics are run and going all around Europe.
Bottom line is that when you are trying to be in-political the most probable thing to happen is politics to knock your door and to knock it hard.

Linda is great!
I think she has gotten better each and everytime she has taken part in MF. I would be delighted to see her in Belgrade. Herself and Charlotte are a cut above the rest!

Actually most of swedish entries in this years MF sound more comic than the spoof on video above...
"Hur svårt kan det va" isn´t nearly as good as "Jag ljuger så bra", nor the song or the stageshow. She´s just a bad copy of herself this year. Hm...
she is very pretty but her voice and especially songs suxxxxx
Why is she doubted so much? I remember something about song writers wouldn't give her songs to sing, now I read in the article that her record company wouldn't realise an album unless she got to the final. She certainly has shown them!
I would be delighted to see Linda in Belgrade, I loved her performance in the semi final!

Remember when Carola won two years ago, the MF final was on saturday and they presented Evighit as Invincible two days after.
Also that year, Linda had her entry pepared in english just in case she win the competition, the title was I did it for you but was never released.
There's that "the bengtzing" reference again!!!!!

Anyway, I think Linda has one of, if not the best, songs in this year's Melodifestivalen. Would love to see her battle her way in Belgrade. I wonder if she wins MF, will there be an English version? Just wondering as there are only 2 days between the MF final and the deadline of presenting to EBU the entries.
Go Linda, the Queen of Schlager, we love her here in the U.K! It would be great to here English versions of Alla flikor, Jag luger sa bra and Hur Svårt Kan Det Va but prefer her swedish songs to any of the other English entries, Good Luck to her and Charlotte this year!
Linda ia azazing what a performance she gave on Sat night. Her vocals were spot on. Cant wait for the final and the new cd!!
Linda's song it's really good this year, it's very different to her 2005 and 2006 entries, in a good way. She absolutely deserved to reach the final!

the cd-single with her eurovision entry is being released today? I thought that the songs werent allowed to be released till after they had been out of the competition... meaning that none of the final entries wouldnt be available before the official CD comes out?
