Biography

Youddiph and Piligrim are pseudonyms of the same young person! Youddiph was born in 1973, graduating from the Moscow Music College as a pianist and uses this name as her artist's name . She has appeared since the age of 15 on the amateur stage and, since 1991, with various bands, taking part as a lead vocalist with Kvartal in a number of television shows before joining Blues Ligue (the most popular blues group in Russia) in 1992. Vechni stranik is the title-song of her debut album. The song was written under her writer's pseudonym Piligrim.

Lev Zemlinski belongs to the new generation of Russian composers and songwriters. Born in 1958, he studied jazz piano at the Moscow Music College before going on to study composition at the Moscow Conservatoire. He has worked with many rock stars as pianist and composer, taking part in the Russian Show on Broadway in 1991.

In the ESC the song is presented with an English title, Eternal Wanderer, although it actually will be sung in Russian. [Notes from the Official 1994 Programme by RTÉ]
