Biography
The participation of the group "ATLANTIS 2000" in the 36th Eurovision Song Contest has been decided through a telephone inquiry. The group is formed by the Weindorf brothers and is led by Alfons Weindorf, co-author with Helmut Frey of the song which "Atlantis 2000" will perform in Rome, "Dieser Traum darf niemals sterben". On vocals we find Jutta Niedhardt, Clemens Weindorf on keyboards, Eberhard Wilhelm on drums, Klaus Pröpper on guitar and Herman Weindorf as musical director. The group comes from Munich and all of its members have collaborated with popular German artists. [Notes from the Official 1991 Programme by RAI]
