Biography
Stéfan Hílmarsson was born in Reykjavík, June 26th, 1966. His career started in 1987 and over the last three years he has become extremely popular as the lead singer of a band called "Salin" which has released 2 albums. The most recent one turned out to be the best-sold longplaying in Iceland's musical history. This is the second time that Stéfan represents Iceland in the Eurovision Song Contest. 1988 saw him on the Eurovision stage with the group Beathoven.
Eyjólfur (Eyfi) Kristjánsson was born in Reykjavík in 1961. He became a professional musician in 1983 and has been the lead vocalist of the group "BITLAVINFELAGIO" for 4 years. He is a versatile and successful composer and he is now finishing recording his first album with English lyrics which is going to be released in the international market. This is the first time Eyfi represents Iceland in the Eurovision Song Contest.
Jón Ólafsson was born in Reykjavík 28 years ago. He studied classical piano and worked as a radio DJ before starting his career as a musician. He belonged, together with Eyfi Kristjánsson, to the group "BITLAVINFELAGIO" and like his partner this is the first time he participates in the Eurovision Song Contest.
