Biography
This is not Carola Søgaard-Häggkvist's first international final. She, then unmarried and so merely named Carola Häggkvist, placed third during the 1983 Eurovision Song Contest in Munich. She was only 16 then, and her debut LP sold an outstanding number of copies. Even today no one in Sweden has achieved such a success and all of the records she has released have been awarded golden discs. Her fourth LP was recorded in the USA and has been produced by Maurice Gibb of the Bee Gees. Her last LP "Much More" is once more earning Carola a golden disc.
Stephan Berg was born in 1957 and has worked as a composer, arranger and musical producer for many artists. This year, for Carola's performance he will present a recent composition entitled "Fångad Av En Stormvind". [Notes from the Official 1991 Programme by RAI]
