Biography
Frizzle Sizzle was formed two years ago. The four girls (Laura Vlasblom, Karin Vlasblom, Mandy Huydts and Marjon Keller) had been part of the "Kinderen voor Kinderen"-project since they were twelve. Every year this is the most-watched programme in the Netherlands. The LPs of the show are all platinum. During the last two years Frizzle Sizzle has sung in the choir on the "Kinderen voor Kinderen"-record, but were too old for the tv-show. The four friends decided to continue singing and called themselves Frizzle Sizzle, because that sounded great.
Peter Schön produced the number "Alles heeft ritme", and it was chosen in the Netherlands Songfestival. "Alles heeft ritme" was selected as the winner out of ten songs. The girls sang this bare-foot from necessity: they couldn't find suitable shoes. Since all four are studying at secondary school, they were given a week off to take part in the Eurovision Song Contest.
"Alles heeft ritme" was composed by Peter Schön and Rob ten Bokum and the lyrics are by Peter Schön. Peter Schön has already written many hits, including some for the Dolly Dots. He is a well-known musician, who plays in pop as well as jazz-groups.
Rob ten Bokum is a guitarist who plays in many top groups and has written several great hits. Willem Ennes was a musician in the top group Solution and he is the producer of the Time Bandits and Fox the Fox, two groups who have had plenty of international success. He also worked in the cabaret field with cabaretists like Karin Bloemen and Jack Spijkerman.
The choreography for "Alles heeft ritme" is by Barbara Besson. The conductor is Harry van Hoof. Harry has taken part in many previous song festivals as a conductor. He is a very well-known arranger who has worked with many world stars. [Notes from the official 86 programme by NRK]
