Biography
Paulo de Carvalho's real name is Paulo Dacosta. Paulo conflicted with the Portuguese regime, as his song was the start signal for the 1974 Portuguese revolution. Paulo Dacosta would go on to represent Portugal in 1977 as part of the group Os Amigos with the song Portugal No Coração. In 1993 he would write the lyrics to the 1993 Portuguese entry A Cicade Até Ser Dia by Anabela.
