Biography
Although Séverine originally is a French singer, she spent the best part of her career in Germany with songs in German. Her first hit in Germany was of course the German version of her Eurovision winner, Mach Die Augen Zu. But she scored far bigger hits with songs like Ja, Der Eiffelturm (1971), Monsieur Le General (1972), Jetzt Geht Die Party Richtig Los (1973) and Vergessen Heißt Verloren Sein (1974). Séverine still can be seen in a lot of German TV shows in the 90's. (notes by René van der Drift)
