Biography
Siw Malmkvist was born 31/12/36 in Sweden. This was the first time she appeared in the Eurovision Song Contest. After this year's Eurovision Song Contest she started a hugely successful career that brought her success not only in Sweden, but also in the German speaking countries and in the Benelux. Most memorable is her 1964 single Liebeskummer Lohnt Sich Nicht, My Darling. And hits like Ksse Nie Nach Mitternacht and Harlekin followed. Although her German success dwindled after 1968, she was asked to participate in the 1969 German final. Siw won and participated for a second time, this time for Germany with Primaballerina.
