The Walloon broadcaster was responsible to choose the first Belgian entries in the Eurovision Song Contest. Both songs were selected internally, further information on the selection process are unfornately not known anymore.
Trivia: Fud Leclerc would represent the Walloon part of Belgian four times in a row: 1956, 1958, 1960 and 1962. He is the only representative in the Eurovision Song Contest who represented the same country four times in the same language. A record, that has never been broken!
