Everybody else puts their favourites from the contest in like a top 5 of something, but I find that difficult because all the songs are so different, so its just easier to have a favourite for each type of song -
2008
Favourite Ballad - Hungary
Favourite Pop - =Sweden & =Ukraine
Favourite Rock - Turkey
Favourite Dance - Iceland
Favourite Non-English song - Switzerland

2007
Favourite Ballad - Hungary
Favourite Pop - Belarus
Favourite Rock - Sweden
Favourite Dance - Ukraine
Favourite Non-English song - =Germany & =France

2006
Favourite Ballad - Cyprus
Favourite Pop - =Denmark & =Estonia
Favourite Rock - Finland (there wasn't any other rock songs anyway lol!)
Favourite Dance - Romania (although again this was the only one I think)
Favourite Non-English song - Belarus (I know it is english but it doesn't sound like it!)

2005
Favourite Ballad - The Netherlands (Lebanon had they made it to Kyiv)
Favourite Pop - Greece
Favourite Rock - =Switzerland & =Norway
Favourite Dance - (UK, I don't think there was a dance song but "touch my fire" makes me want to boogie!!)
Favourite Non-English song - Slovenia

2004
Favourite Ballad - =Germany & =Cyprus
Favourite Pop - Albania
Favourite Rock - Turkey (yes I know it was Ska but it was the closest to rock in 2004)
Favourite Dance - Belgium (although this was the only one!)
Favourite Non-English song - Ukraine (and whilst I aint a fan of the Belarussian song, it was so hard to understand its basically not in english so I thought to give it a mention!)

JESC: Although i've only ever watched the event in full (once in 2004 when it was shown on tv), I do have a few good songs I listen to from it. Alot of the songs are rubbish, but there are a few gems ;)
> UK 2004 - Cory Spedding, The best is yet to come
> Sweden 2006 - Moll Sanden, Det finaste nagon kan fa.
> Sweden 2007 - Frida Sanden, Nu eller aldrig
> Belgium 2007 - Trust, Anders
> Serbia 2007 - Nevena Bozovic, Pisi Mi

I also watched Melodifestivalen this year, and if it was up to me the final would have looked a little different. My top 10 songs (in no order):
> BWO: Lay your love on me
> Sanna Nielsen: Empty room
> Frida ft. Headline: Upp o hoppa
> Sibel: That is where i''ll go
> Velvet: Deja Vu
> Michael Michailoff: Thats love
> Charlotte Perrelli: Hero
> Thérèse Andersson: When you need me
> Linda Bengtzing ( (L) lol): Hur svart kan det va?
> Rongedal: Just a minute

Anyway I don't really know what else to say! :)
