Howdy fellow Eurovision Fans. I'm Vaughan,feel free to add me on msn (Vaughan@rokstudent.com), My Eurovision Journey started in 1998 when the Eurovision Song Contest came to my hometown of Birmingham in the United Kingdom. Since then I havent looked back. I love everything abour Eurovision and keep up to date all year round. Sadly, here in the United Kingdom, the Eurovision Song Conrtest is seen as a joke and many people mock me for liking it, but I will love it till the day I die. Im a sucker of the comedy songs and catchy schlager songs. My favourite Eurovision Hit has Got to be "Take me to your Heaven" sung be "Charlotte Nillson (now Perrelli) who represented Sweden in 1999 followed closely by " Lets Get Happy " sung by " Lou " who represented Germany in 2003. Sweden are my favourite Eurovision Country is that put real effort into there entries and deserve to win, Germany are also my favourite Country as each year they enter very versatile and unique entries and dont take themselves seriously. Im a big fan of Eurovision getting bigger and better and long may it continue. I get sick and tired of hearing people saying how political it is. It always has been and always will be a competition where countries vote for other countries who are neighbours to themselves because there share musical stars and styles. Neighbourly voting has never affected the winning song either! I love Melodifestivalen, my favourite singers are Linda Bengtzing, BWO, Mans Zelmerlow, Nanne Gronval, and Charlotte Perrelli! Some of my Favourite Eurovision Hits are noted below, Sadly only twice has my ultimate favourite won, in 1999 and 2005!(those marked with a star are my ultimate favourite of that year)
