My story

Union Jack

I'm from easily one of the most glorious and beautiful nations in the world, The United Kingdom (Scotland to be precise). I live in central Edinburgh, I am a linguist (French, Portuguese and Spanish) and I have been a die-hard Eurovision fan from a very young age - long before Eastern Europe and Asia started to ruin it. I throw a big annual Eurovision party, bedecking my home in Union Jacks and serving up food from all over Europe. I support Britain all the way !!Rule Britannia!! :D

Here are a list of some of my Eurovision facts:

• Favourite ever ESC song - "Je n'ai que mon Âme" Natasha St-Pier, France 2001.

• Favourite ESC Moment - When British host Ulrikka Jonsson unintentionally insulted the Dutch spokeswoman in 1998.

• Favourite Stage - Dublin 1997.

• Favourite Presenters - Kattis Alström and Anders Lundin, Stockholm 2000.

• Favourtie logo - Eurovision Song Contest Birmingham 1998.

• Favourite Winner - "Nocturne" Secret Garden, Norway 1995.

• Favourite ESC country - Sweden/United Kingdom.

• Favourite contest overall - Stockholm 2000.

• Best ever performer - Guildo Horn, Germany 1998/Pall Oskar, Iceland 1997.

• Best ever vocals - Natasha St-Pier, France 2001.

• Best Contest for songs - Athens 2006.

• Biggest Eurovision Injustice - Malta 2002 and Belgium 2003. All of the most recent results due to the prepostrous block and diaspora driven voting tactic.

• Worst ever performer - Remedios Amaya, Spain 1983.

• Worst dress - Lydia, Spain 1999/Nathalie Source, Belgium 2000.

• Worst song - "Never Let You Go" Dima Bilan, Russia 2006.

• Worst winner - "Every Way That I Can" Sertab, Turkey 2003.
