Hi, this is Ollie here 14 year old ESC fan from thwe UK
to be honest my first show that i fully watched was in 2007, i was amazed by some of the performances escpecially in the final, i wanted either Hanna Pakarinen (Finland) or Natalia Barbu (Moldova) but neither did as well as i expected it. I saw the results from 2004 and always wanted to see what all the fuss was about, and now I know why!

here are my opinions of 2008 so far:
Albania - very emotional ballad i really like it, but will it qualify?
Andorra - I dont see what all the fuss is about its a sub-standerd song that is so boring
Azerbaijan - I'd like it, if it wasnt for all the insane screaming thats supposed to be opera it doesnt work
Bosnia - umm i dont get it at all its a wrong-un and after a few good years fo good songs as well...
Belarus - I like it, but not enough
Bulgaria - I love this song and i think its very original just like last years entry, hope it qualifies
Croatia - havent heard all of the song but honestly it seems to be a rip off of Croatia 05 and Moldova 05
Cyprus - I quite like this but it reminds me of evevator music in the bridge, will it work for Belgrade?
Czech Rep - It's ok, a "safe" option from last year, i dont think it will pick up the points
Denmark - quite bland, nothing much too say...
Estonia - I just can't get what people were thinking on the night, Gerli last year over ninjas and now this
Finland - I am pleased that the Finns are going with what they do best, ROCK i so want this to qualify, will the language be a voting block for the song. due to the fact i love rock i automatically love it !
FYR Macedonia - umm, I can see how the winners of 04-07 won, good songs but this umm- they need to make another performance the only one out now is a bit too quiet to fully judge
Georgia - some parts i like others i don't
Greece - once again like the Finns they do what they are best at, pop/R'n'B and there abouts it will qualify
Hungary - I adore the Hungarian language but mabye a small section in english like Slovenia will help (english arrogance for you lol!)
Iceland - will qualify, brilliant song, Iceland have amazing song taste!
Ireland - who will vote for this for the actual song... oh yeah NOBODY just the fact its "funny"
Isreal - not isreals best but good nonetheless
Latvia - I am under the impression that good songs only come every other year, 05 07 were good this is, embarrising
Lithuania - ZzZ , sorry I'm asleep its dull i saw the final there was better
Malta - I heard backing track and the word "Vodka" a few times thats it
Moldova - (read Latvia)
Norway - i find this a bit of a dark horse, sounds good first time sounds better next simple clean and effective
Poland - im not too sure yet
Romania - what i heard is nice but not as good as previous songs
(Serbia) - i have heard all of the songs my favourites are Oro and Zavet, Zavet's better in my opinion
Slovenia - I desperatly want this to go through its catchy simple and has a nice format for the semi
Sweden - a great song ( reminds me of most of swedens song throughout the years - black and white intro showing its not like her old song qualities of sweden 2006, 2004 2003 and others!
Switzerland - put it this way, if they dont get though there is no hope for anyone esle
Turkey - catchy rock will do well
Ukraine - amazing performance good song great voice and crazy dancing, not as much as 07 but very good nonetheless
UK - my honest opinion - we did bad, again bland boring too simple plain MICHELLE should have won would have got a better place but better than the evil that is Scooch, yuk!
