Hey everyone I am Daniel, born and bred in Belfast, and I have watched Eurovision since I can remember although I have gotten really into it for the last 5 years. I certainly have my favourite songs and think the quality is getting better year on year, although a lot of the time the results don't reward the songs that I like but what can ye do?

Having heard quite a few entries by now I can safely say that Western Europe has easily produced the best entries so far, with the best eastern entry (Turkey) being sung by a Belgian - I think that says a lot. I fear though that only Norway will see any kind of reward and that some awful entries will get high marks - hopefully the juries will have enough influence.

As for Ireland I can't really be objective with my home country! I will say that I do think it is a catchy song and deserves more credit on this website than it gets but it isn't the best entry either!

If Eastern Europe dominates the top of the final scoreboard I just won't get it! But heck I never get most of the results now in Eurovision and some of the songs I initially didn't like including Romania, Armenia and Azerbaijan have went right up my list cos they are darn catchy!

In the real world, outside Eurovision, I love lots of music from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Coldplay, the Beatles and the Who to Girls Aloud, Nelly Furtado and Justin Timberlake
I just have to add too, even though it is completely off music, that LOST is the best TV show of all time and I am completely addicted so I am well up for talking about that!!
