My story

Hello everybody!

Let's talk a bit about myself (not my favourite hobby, by the way). I am a 26 years-old guy from Argentina. I have no job at the moment, so I fullfil my time surfing the net and getting ready for the forthcoming 52º Eurovision Song Contest. Well, as everybody may know my country doesn't take part in the contest. But we are a bunch of fans here. How it all started? It was 1992, and my mum saw a TV ad of the multi-platinum album "ABBA Gold", that was just released at the time. She got it afterwards, and I got hooked by their music (I was 12 then). Reading the booklet, I noticed something called "Eurovision". That was the first time I read that name in my life. I didn't pay much attention to it; for me it was a chapter in the ABBA bio. A couple of years later, my first ESC was the 2004 edition, in Istambul...

I don't listen to ABBA as often as before, but I still follow the contest. I got all the songs that made in the contest. Maybe I am not an expert (yet), but I try to learn a bit more every day. I hope this website will help me to learn even more. And I am always open for ESC-friends from all over the world!

Besides that, I am a huge Roxette fan as well. I know they are not as popular as in 1991 anymore, but I still follow them. In addition Per and Marie are releasing cool solo stuff almost every year! So, I never got bored.

My favourite ESC editions: 1966, 1969, 1977, 1979, 1984, 1987, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1994, 1997, 2002, 2006, 2007.
