My story

Jamie Ainscow

Fan Since: 1991 (when I was 10).
Earliest Memory: Song for Europe, Samantha Janus singing in her pink outfit. I remember wanting her to represent us. I love the 'peace to the world' message. The girls in the background, well, what a routine. I laugh every time, but I love it.

Contest Finals Attended:
1998 in Birmingham;
2000 in Stockholm;
2001 in Copenhagen.
Fave Moment Live: The opening to the 2000 contest in Sweden when the lights went down and everyone was silent waiting for that little girl to shout "Welcome Europe!" The hairs were up on end. I loved it!!!

Fave Eurovison Song: This is difficult. I have a few all time favourites:
"Amen" by Liora, Israel 1995.
"Invincible" by Carola, Sweden 2006.
