Sims Eurovision history

1982 (3 years old) My brothers wanted to see '82 Kdam but they had to babysit me so they put me with them in the living room so i didn't have much choice :-)

1985 (Six) i wanted to watch the contest but i was only in kindergarden so i my parents didn't allow me
to stay that late so i heard it on a reel tape that my sister recorded from the radio.

1986 (7) this year i was in 1st grade so i insisted that i am all grown up to watch eurovision and stay that late
but i was pursuided to go to bed before the voting by all kinds of presents :-)

1987 (8) No promises could hold me!! this year !! :-) i watched the ENTIRE show for the first time

1988 (9) first time i wrote notes about the songs

1989 (10) first time that i record the contest on reel cassete

1990 (11) first year that i owned a computer (i remember it on April '90 myt parents bought it XT 8/16Mhz !!!)
first time that i printed a list of countries and songs participating

1991 (12) first year i recorded on a reel tape the entire show with voting

1992 (13) first year that i had also a cross table of the votes

1993 (14) we bought a VCR, first year i recorded the contest

1995 (16) The first year i started collecting Past eurovision songs - had 25 eurovision songs in a reel tape.
First year i had "The Eurovision Clip" a slides of pictures with all the songs as a medly

1996 (17) Eurovision collection tally: 46 songs in reel tape, 4 video preformeces on video and 22 parts
of preformences on video.

1997 (18) The first year i owned a Eurovision CD (Douze Points a double issue CD)
Eurovision Collection tally: 89 Songs - 50 in reel tapes and 49 in the CD
Eurovision Clip - 89 Songs, 1 Hour and 45 Mintues long

1998 (19)* The First time i witnessed the victory of my own country an Israeli victory by Dana International
The first year i voted (PORTUGAL)
* The first year i had Internet connection and could talk with other people about the contest
without them getting bored.
* Last year of the Eurovision Clip - since 98 i just had to many songs to make the clip
in it's last edition the clip had 115 Songs and was 2 Hours and 30 Mintues long.

1999 (20) * The Eurovision Song Contest Collection Founded! first tally > 256 Files, 420MB
* first time i went and were IN the Eurovision

2000 (21) * Malcolm and his wondefull website of files Expand my collection 5 fold !
* Eurovision Song Contest Collection tally: 1,990 Files, 3,600MB
* Voted for Macedonia - Switzerland Won the EuroSims of 2000.

2001 (22) * Eurovision Song Contest Collection Tally: 6,700 Files, 19,500MB
* First year i started exchanging video tapes on the mail with people over sea
* Voted for Greece - Germany won the EuroSims of 2001.

2002 (23) * First Eurovision of me knowing that i am gay
* Voted for Finland, Latvia, Slovenia - tried also for Macedonia but it was too late
Macedonia won the EuroSims of 2002.
* Eurovision Song Contest Collection Tally: 13,500 Files, 26,770MB
* First year i was able to download a stream

2003 (24) * First Eurovision that i am being Intertviewed for the newspaper (a virtual magazine)
* Voted for Belgium and also Belgium won my EuroSims
* First year i had a Massive Party at my house in the cost of 1,500NIS (about 300$)
* First year for one of one of my Fav. Site Songfestival.nl
* First year for Soulseek
* Eurovision Song Collection Tally: 33,200 Files, 66,250MB

2004 (25) * First Eurovision that i am being Interviewed and having pictures of mine in the Newspaper
and this time a real one!
* Voted for Greece 16 Times in the Semi Final and 29 Times in the Final, Macedonia winning
The EuroSims but Sakis Stays Sims Best loved singer (and yes, fantasy ;-) )
* 2nd Eurovision Massive Party in the cost of 1,200 NIS
* Eurovision Song Contest Tally: 37,564 Files, 85,600MB

2005 (26) * First time i had my own representive (Omar The Great)
* Eurovision Song Contest Tally: 44,560 Files, 120,966MB
* First time i went to the synagogue to praire for my Man in Kiev (Omar The Great)
* Voted for Slovenia and didn't give a damn about the actual results
since it was a really something to scoff about
* First Eurovision in my own apartment
* 3rd Eurovision Massive Party in the cost of almost 1,200 NIS
* First year i had a Video DVD Recorder
* First year i was Personally involved in Producing a National Final
(was in charged of the postcards in the Kdam Eurovision)
* First year i declared the results of the eurovision VOID.


HERE I AM :-) and who know what may happen tommorow ... :-)
(alought with the current beat of things in the eurovision song contest i can tell it going for bad to worse and that's a big shame)
