My story

Hi there, hello from this Portuguese fan. I watch the Eurovision song contest since ever... well, since I was very, very young.... I recall the first I had a vynil of was the 1981!! I made my mind up to be faithful to it!! But, the most important eurovision was the 1988 when I started recording on video!! And, so, I started singing along endlessly to all the songs, I suddenly became able to speak so many languages... (well, nobody to check it up....lol).

Of course, I have the dream of seing Portugal win the Eurovision song contest.... but not many people care about the ESC in Portugal, so not much is done there. But, I think we've had some very good songs and that, sometimes, we don;t get the votes we deserve. We only have one neighbour, so we don't get votes like the ones between scandinavian countries or the new baltic/eastern europeans do.

Now, I live in London, and people take the eurovision much more seriously here. So, going to a Eurovision party always cheers me up quite a lot!!! And, still, I hope for Portugal to win.....
