My story

Guy from Zagreb, huge Eurovision fan like most of you browsing these pages...freak, you may say! Eurovision was my window into better world in 1980'ies in comparison with the one we had at home (Yugoslavia was the name of the country). I could recall Danijel's performance in Munich, I was 9 than...mote than twenty years ago. I remember watchinf ESC with my friends when Doris (Bergen,1986), Novi Fosili (Bruxelles, 1987) and Srebrna Krila (Dublin,1988) were preforming. I remember Zagreb hosting ECS 1990, TV was constantly showing many memorable moments from ESC past, unfortunately I dod not have a VCR in these days, I regret it now...I remember being disappointed when Baby Doll has been selected to respresent still complete Yugoslavia in March 1991 in Sarajevo, what a disaster! Her performance in Rome in 1991 I could look at today as a part of extravaganza but than, it was such a shame, such a bad singing...After Croatia becoming independent, after our debut in 1993 in Millstreet, I became addicted with the show, harly waiting whole year through to that paricular evening in May 'when everything seems possible'.
