My story

Ramón Ramos

I was born just some days before the first Spanish victory, so I am an ESC fan because it is in my mind since I was a baby. To be serious, I began to be a real fan in 1979, after the ESC in Israel, when Spain was second after given the victory to Israel at the end of the voting. I also enjoyed a lot the ESC in 1981 (Peter, Sue and Marc, Emily Star), 1982 (Stella, Avi Toledano), 1983 (Corinne Hermes, Ofra Haza, Carola), 1984 (Franco Batiato, Belle & the Devotions), 1988 (Celine Dion, Gerard Joglind, Yardena Arazi), 1991 (Amina, Duo Datz, Dulce Pontes), 1995 (Secret Garden, Anabel Conde), 1997 (Katrina, Paul Oscar), 1998 (Dana, Guildo), 2000 (Brainstorm), 2001 (Antique), 2003 (Beth, Sertab, Urban Trad, Lou, Louisa)2004 (Ramón, Zeljko, Sakis, Athena), 2005 (Javine, Helena Paparizou, Shiri Maymon, Wig Wam) 2006 (Lordi, Carola, Brian Kennedy, Daz Sampson) and 2007 (only Eirikur from Iceland). Usually I like the Mediterranean countries and British songs. The entries I liked the most in 2008 were Israel, France, Russia, Denmark, UK, Turkey and The Netherlands.
