I am David Van Der Peijl, born 1961, in UK
My memories start from 1970, and have watched it ever since.
Have been to 1998 and 2003 ( oh dear !) contests.
Miss the old days of Eurovision, own language, orchestras etc.
Would love to see The Netherlands and Spain win again
