My story

Once upon a time, there was bored little boy who had no idea. One day though, the government of Australia created a new TV channel called SBS. SBS is the TV station that hardly anyone watches as it has all that 'foreign' stuff. Anyway, in 1982 SBS showed the Eurovision Song Contest for the very first time, and have consequently every years since on Sunday evening the day after the show is telecast (except of course the 1991 ESC which was held at 2pm - soccer grand final was more important that year). So, I watched, I sung, I danced and now multiple years later feel content in my ESC knowledge to the point that I tell people quite openly and dont care if they squirm. Esc is something to be proud of, while most people come and go ESC has lasted 50 years, and I'm proud to follow it. : ) I even had a website once.
